Dog I make alot of edible's for my grandparents and stuff.. because they cant smoke do to medical conditions.. If you go to walmart or target ..anystore like that .. you can get a small crockpot for less then 20 bucks.. Keep that baby on low for 24 hours.. and you will get a really good extraction!

Well This is what i did: I added trimming with bud. I let simmer on stove for 5 hours. Once all bud and trimming sinks too the bottom and does not float up I added 2 sticks of butter. I stirred and waited, let simmer for 5 more hours. Wait until all the bud fall too the bottom again, once done I drained. Then I put in fridge overnight, just woke up and placed into freezer too make the process faster. Now waiting for it too become hard so I can add it to my butter cookies I'm going to make!

I used like 1/2 ounce of bud and whatever trimming i had from the plant! I used 2 sticks of butter! I have notice that when doing it this way you do lose butter I guess its vaporizes! For the most part it looks good, I will be done soon its starting to harden up more!

I only have one question about it. I have been searching the net for the color the cannabutter should be but I can't really find. Now I have seen a lot of people with a green tint too the butter, My butter doesn't really seem to have a green tint too it. I am curious too know why! I hope this coloring doesn't affect quality of butter!

it really depends.... lots of people grind their trim and buds.. The green is just plant matter in your butter.. SO imo if you can get a GOOOD extraction the less green the better.. just like with making wax.. if its potent.. and it doesnt have much green .. the taste will be better .. :)
