So you topped #3. I would assume it is the same age as the others. If so I would also be interested in knowing what kind of yield you get from those lower buds on the plant you topped. I too have heard not to top lowryders but several people have told me they have done it and it worked out fine. The top you took off: was it ripe and how far (days) into flower were you? Oh by the way I didn't answer your original question. Looks like two weeks should do.

Looking nice. I would say get a 30x microscope and check out trichs to see if the around 10-20% amber is good if I can remember correctly.

I usually take my trichs a little farther to 50% cloudy to 50% clear. You can also look at the hairs (amber) and if they are the same ratio as stated (50/50) before that is another method of determining ripeness. The trich method is the best is my understanding. Some even go further ratio wise to 75%. Its all a personal choice as the further you go the less cerebral the high. Taking them further puts you on the couch. This is just what I have been told. Indoor grower is right however in that the best way to tell is to use a 30x microscope you can get cheap at Radio Shack

yeah i'll let you know the yield, i topped like day 11-12 of veg (feminised seeds) took like a week nearly two to recover as it has such a short life i thought it may have been more benificial to top sooner than later only time will tell
