Im not sure i understand what you are saying, but it sounds like you're equating inventing brighter lights and bloom boosters to actually manipulating the way a plant wants to grow. Take all environmental factors out of the picture, assume every environment is perfect. The best way to learn how a plant grows is set it and forget it. Plug it in to the system with everything else, baseline everything. See how it grows without all the fancy tricks and additives. Almost every strain I take in gets test flowered as is untopped in a reasonable size pot with no frills. Can't do anything til I see how she reacts to my system.
You dont understand, read again will you (and your own post I qouted within previous post) and then first awnser my question please :
So, how many strains did you fully grow without any of the things I listed ? (no artificial lights, nutes, pest control eetc etc etc)
Funny how this goes from differing from opinion on defoliage on how you think someone should learn how to grow an entire grow.
Oh well.
You say the best way to learn is to set and forget it ??? you serious ? when do you notice deficiencies, bugs, heat problems, humidity problems then ?
You mention your methods like its THE way to do it and come about rather aggressive in your wording to someone who doesnt follow your lead.
What I deem important is how to read my plants.
If I do something, how did they repsond and what are signs to look at and act accordingly.
On the point of trimming / defoliage:
I have scientific data gathered up to a minute precise over weeks of monitoring on different locations in my grow, which so obviously show simple benefits to even a little trimming.
Air flow. Resulted in better maintainable humidity and temperature for one thing.
Just think of the upsides to having a good airflow in your canopy as opposing to a bad one. (molds anyone ?)
In any case, please awnser my question first.
