Needs to have its trimming completed.
I'm curious, is there something useful about knowing the weight of untrimmed buds still on the stem?

This subforum stays stuck on technical minutia, specs, etc. So much so that it seems we forget about results. I've been in here for over three years and results frankly suck compared to topshelf at my favorite dispensaries here in LA.
Currently vegging a set of Tahoe OG clones under my cxb3590's. Not holding my breath about the results, expecting mostly fluffier flowers.

I don't mean this in a bad way but light is light. If you're growing fluffy buds it's probably a 99% chance it's either your gardening skills or a combination of your skills and strains you're using. Not saying you suck at it either, but maybe using LED requires slight changes in the way you do things. Just a thought, because there are hundreds of LED growers growing massive, hard buds and even if they aren't super big, most people get dank hard nugs with the best resin production they've seen.

Bud can get fluffy for two reasons concerning light:
1. Insufficient light to synthesize for flowers.
2. Too much heat.
Sure, some strains are dense and rock hard by genetics, but these two things effect density most immediately and most often.

I agree totally, I just called it 'gardening skills' because there are so many factors even beyond light and heat although as you pointed out they are the major ones.
I'm alright for a hobbyist...

I've never yet worked with any confirmed legit clones or seeds. Just had to roll with what they told me about strain (which likely was not true).

I would say you are losing light in several ways.
- It seems like the cobs are sunken too deep in the fence posts. Resulting in light getting lost on the plastic.
- The COBs look like they are too high above the plants (causes light loss on the walls).
- The reflective material looks like that diamond pattern stuff. Diamond pattern is more a retroflective material which means it reflects light back to the light source. Never understood why that is used in grow tents. Although perhaps for HPS it can help diffuse the light, but still the main aim of reflection should be to direct the light to the plants.
Other than that the tops look fine?

Sometimes the prettiest biggest buds have the worst terpinoid profile and don't get you high or not enough....a terp profile can't be "seen". I feel like too many are caught up in the American big is better bullshit, still.......
just like....I can have the prettiest most cannabis pleasing spectrum in existence....... but if it has no power behind it, nothing will grow...hmmm...

I agree. Haven't refined my first build yet.
About 18". I will try them lower this run.
It's a gorilla tent, figured it was a decent choice.
You're right. They always look decent while they are still alive. Don't look bad dead either, just not quite solid rock enough.

Love the outdoor pots, what are they 100g? 2 or 3lbs per plant or so?
20 gallon fabric pots folded in half to help my stealth efforts.

Oh I see now. The perspective threw me off. I just watched a Jorge Cervantes video of him visiting outdoor grows with 14' tall plants holding over 10lbs each so I got carried away. Hopefully you get the indoor looking just a nice.

my first guess is over training.
you got like 50 colas on that on in the the tent. generally i try not to do more than 10 big tops per plant or it seems to reduce size. im not saying it cant be done (@sixstring2112 is a great example) but youre sure asking a lot from that one plant. and i agree with wietefras first 2 points. id guesstimate 500-600 ppfd max at canopy level looking at that
