PICS, Perpetual Grow Question, Need Another Tent

I am doing a perpetual in one tray(sog, 4 plants per square foot, strain is Power Kush). I will be starting 16 clones (SOG) same tray every 2 weeks so I cannot flush in that tray. I am getting a 2x2 tent for the 10 day flush. The main room has a 1000w (5x5 tray). Should I be looking at a 250 or 400w. From the math it seems a 250w would be comporable, but I wanted to ask.

Also, this is my first ever grow....period. I just started flower lighting yesterday. Do my clones look to be about the right size to start the flowering light. I realize there's some difference in size betweeen them, but should I be ok? I also just included a pic of the mums (they are currently under a 400wHPS, I was going to use that in the 2x2 but it seems like too much coming from the 1000w in the 5x5). I will need to take 16 clones from them every 14 days.

why are you vegging your moms with hps? also if you wanted to do a perpetual you shouldve got 2 2x2 trays wouldve been less of a hassle .. also with sog you want to keep an even canopy so the 1000 is too much because you cant bring it down close enough so they will stretch i wouldve done 2x 400hps or 600hps... if your ballast is dimmable consider dimming it until they get bigger and bring the hood as close as you can put your hand under to check they dont burn .. and use your 400 in the new tent and get some fluorecents for the moms they dont really need that much intensity... BY THE WAY WHAT BRAND TENT IS THAT AND TRAY ? GOOD LUCK !

Well, I'm kind of set up the way I am right now, for better or worse. The HPS for the moms was just temporary. I was going to use that for the 4x4 and pick up 250w MH for the moms in the next few days. I'm just worried now about a 400 being too much for the 2x2.

The tent is from gotham hydroponics, I'm very happy with it. And the tray is a 48x48 interior dimension from a local hydro store. No brand on it, made to order by them.


PS...I did originally have FLouro's for the moms but needing 16 clippings every 10-14 days I though a 250w or 400w MH would be better. NO??

yeah a 250w would be good .. so you got the tent off ebay right the orange stitching one? i was looking into that one it seemed like a good ass tent but i havent met anyone with it... i just wanted to see if the tray matched the size of the tent since the trays run big... so the tent is 4x4 and the tray also?

well....yes it is the one off ebay. i am very imoressed with the quality. however it is a 5x5. the 4x4 Interior diameter trays are all about 53in outside dimension. no way it will fit in a 4x4. Again though. on initial quality I'd recomend it. keeps light out very well too.
