[PICS] thoughts on my first grow room?

Well being the nice guy that I am fuckin saved 3 abused (so far outdoor) purple kush plants(Emily, tina, and tammy) so my whitewidow+mango sprouts need a new spot (i'll figure something out)

I'll post some pics of the plants in a few hours when the lights are back on, they are pretty fuckin stressed out :S I hope I can save them.
they just started flowering, the smell is unreal.

Any tips on cutting down the odor untill I can get a carbon filter put together? (as cheap as possible, for now)

just got back from lowes, and the fuckin timer I got is only 2 prong!!
soo mad, can't believe i didn't check..i better be able to take it back.

Ayway, fixed up the veg box and added a 30 watt (2050L) CFL to my closet to replace a 23 watt cool white.

anyway heres a couple shots of the veg box 2.25....and a half a half..half..

and another one of my closet.


oh and whats this I hear about plants gettin windburn.. my leafs arn't twisting or anything, but what should I know about it?

woke up at 8 this morning to turn the lights back on, the plants are looking so much better. way less droopy and the bud sites have gorgeous 1/2'' golden hairs shooting from them.

the smell helped me wake up, thats for sure.

hopfully I can get a new (three prong!!) timer today.

Hey man nice start,

if you can get that 150 HPS or even a 400 HPS you'll be in way way better condition... looks like you need more CFL's especially for your plant that is going into flower... and look for a "red" spectrum bulb for your flowering stage... the blue lights are for veg ;).... That's my 400 Watter beside my small 100 Watt HPS the smaller one wasn't cutting it but it was hell of a lot better then my flouros I had hooked up.

Damn those are nice..

Right now I have x2 40 watt CLFs (warm spec) x4 23 watt (warm spec) x4 13 watt (warm spec) and x3 23 watt (coolspec[still havn't replaced them)

I just bought a 15 watt 18'' (purple spec) flouro "plant gow" UV light.
Think it would be better in my veg box or on the girls?

the plants were outdoor never saw a nute in thier lives. My buddy was gonna trash them so I took 'em in. they were in a shed wrapped in garbage bags for 2 days. I managed to perk them up,

how far into flowering are they?

around 2 weeks


I had these babies outside for like a month and a half to two months.... started them half way through summer..... the lighting outside was at 14 hours so when I put them to 12/12 it showed female within two days... I'm gonnna grow this one out then I'm going to build a new grow box :D one with enough space for just 2 plants but make it taller then my 4' now :D

Nice. I can't wait untill mine look more like that, theres so many bud sites on my plant.. i'm so pumped
