pics under hid lights

Anyone that has ever tried to take a pic under HPS lights knows how well that works. I ended up with a pair of Lumii grow room glasses, and noticed how big a difference they made. Just for hahas, I held the glasses in front of my camera phone and snapped a shot. It looked like I took the pic outside in the sunlight. I have no idea how much the glasses actually cost, but they make a great filter when photographing in a flower room. Just something I thought someone might like to know.

The first pic was taken just as the lights were coming on, so they werent warmed up enough to start putting the lines in the pic.

Thank you. After screwing things up just about every way imaginable, mostly trying to see what would work, and what wouldnt, I think I finally found a system that works for me.

These glasses have blue lenses, and I think that is part of why they work the way they do. opening the door and lookin in with the glasses on is like lookin out my front door with no glasses on. I have no idea how much the glasses cost, but they are easy on the eyes working under those lights, and now I have the bonus of being able to take pics with the lights on. If I break them, I will definitly buy another pair.

just found them on amazon. $29.95 for the ones I have. I got them free, so I knew they couldnt cost too much. Now that I have figured out how to post pics, I think I will have to post a journal on my new baby. The one in the pic is 3 weeks in 12/12, and I have another that I started the day the first went into 12/12. I wasnt sure about the super diesel, but so far it looks amazing.
