considering you can find 100x microscopes for 12 bucks and a 2MP sensor nowdays is pretty cheap, 25 bucks would be somewhat the right price. In reality this is just some lenses placed really close to the camera sensor - image quality will almost purely rely upon the optics.

The website lists walmart but they don't have it in store or available on site.

Make sure you get the Bionicam, they also sell a bionic eye but it hooks up to the TV instead of having a camera built in.

they also list toys'r'us, amazon, target, KB toys, walmart, kmart.

The Bionicam, is portable, records video, takes pictures, has a color lcd screen, USB, and plugs into the TV. Just amazing for $25.

I might get one too, just because it's worth it...............

I think they have updated to a new version so they ar selling the older models cheap. The website boasts a removable usb stick as storage, and doesnt have any cables. The version we are ordering has a cable and something at the end..im guessing batteries and or memory card.

edit: I was going to spend 35 on a jewelers handheld magnifier anyways, this blows that away..and i can share the trich goodness. as well as a good little camera for those that cant afford an slr with macro lens set...dont get much more macro than looking at mitosis in real time (exaggeration lol...)

Anyone get their BioniCam yet would like to know how the pics turned out and if you can really use it. The reviews I find on amazon are mixed.

I think it can be hit or miss. I had one that was very dark. It appears the LEDs can easily be out of position, because I have seen other people's pics and although not as dark as mine, definitely not as bright as WITHAI's -- nice ones BTW, you got lucky with a good one.

maybe you can soup yours up like try to get a cheap key chain super bright led mini flashlight with an on / off button that stays lit, then tape it on the unit.

make it a super Bioni cam:hump:

i have used the eyeclops, a slightly differnt model. its the one that plugs into the tv. my buddy got it for his kid. we were using it to look at our tounges, scalp, fingernails, scabs... f'ing gross, i know. anyways the thing works awesome!!! i completely forgot that has one. funning thing is, he is my buddy that i grow with too. I just IMed him and told him to dig that thing out of the closet, i checking trichs tonight!!! i dont know if this model will let me save pics but i'll post if it does.
I would recommed products from eyeclops, they work!
