Pictures of your DIY lights - Post your pics!!!

My first organic run, my first scrog, and my second time with diy cobs.
23" x 48" tent, screen 21 x 46"
one side Sannie;s Jack yielded 226g plus what I smoked along the way
Other side Seedism Killawatt 241g plus samples along the way.
12 cobs, 4 CXB3590 3500K, 2 CXB3070 3500K, and 6 CXA3070 3000K.
Ran off of 2 HLG-240H-42B, 6 cobs per driver, each driver dimmed to 176 watts
I come up with over 1.25 gp/w
This is over 3X more gp/w than I have ever done before!!
All I had to do was water them every few days, and with no drain holes there was no mess!!!
I wasnt going to grow another run till winter, and I have soo much to smoke, but I cant wait to see what I can do with some other strains. My friends will have plenty of samples and buds lol.
I gave 2 oz away to a paraplegic friend of a friend whos grower moved out of state.
I think I have found the ultimate growing style ( for me) and want to thank all in the thread and RIU for the help and info!!

It was all the factors combined that made me yield so well, organic for taking away the user error with fertilizing and burning etc..., the screen for making the small area well used, and the cobs for being so damn efficient!

Yes, I am quite pleased and proud. Despite all of the lost sleep over this thing, I look forward to doing it again sometime. I love the feeling when all of the pieces of a build fall in to place and the planning pays off.
 
For new DIY'ers, or the non-mechanically inclined. I'm almost ready to get these universal brackets on the street. I am working with some fabricators on pricing and material costs. I'll have a video on how to and where to order these. And their cost. Trying for as cheap as possible.

But the goal is: you want to get into DIY LED? Ok all you need is your pre tapped heatsink and components. A screwdriver & wire strippers.

Fits: cutter, northern grow lights & pacific light concepts heatsinks. As well as Arctic Alpine64plus for budget designs.

Let me know what you think:

So AtomicData, can you give me more info on the dc cabling comming from cobs and leading to cable glands on junction box? I see the 3 pin XLR's but what size/gauge are you using for daisy chaining and eventuallt going to j box
 
i'd like to see anodized aluminum reflector with lens for the popular cob sizes. maybe even matching cob holders or at least zhaga compliant. using aluminum instead of plastic could help to disperse heat.

Hey you went with the XLR! Remember, don't plug any microphones into your driver. Looks really fucking great, you should be proud. 80/20 is super sexy.

My design is more minimalist, but I still know what you mean about the planning and measuring and constant thinking about everything fitting. And you make it look so easy in the end.

I want some sort of wire holder thingies now. Sadly I have to wait for my cob holders to arrive, everything else is done but the wiring up. Hmm maybe I could use tiny u-brackets and short self-tappers. Hmm...

@nl5xsk1 It is a 16/3 so i assume 16 awg 3wire
If your cable diameter is 3-6.5mm you should not need sleeving to increase diameter for use in pg7

I like the brackets. I assume with these brackets I can easily slide the cobs on 80/20 to adjust distance between cobs. adding an extra cob or removing one should be easy too.
Aluminum channels are cheep but the design is not as flexible.
I like the other brackets on reflector too.
