i am getting a tattoo in a few weeks! so excited
i have 20 piercings so far and love them (eight in one ear nine in the other two in my nose and my belly button)
and anyone here try suspension? i have to wait till i am of age and all that but really like how it looks and the idea behind it !!!

If youre saying you have to wait till your "of age" to get a piercing does that mean youre not 18 yet?
cause if thats the case i think they have rules about letting underage people on this website.
not trying to cause a problem just curious if the age to get pierced is higher for some reason

Where's the choice for all of em? I have more tattoos than piercings but I'm a fan of all of em. I plan to do my first suspension this summer. There is a tattoo/piercing parlor here and a bunch of the artists there are in a band where they do suspensions on stage during it. Good times. I've heard the rush from suspension is incredible and I can't wait to do of myself.

No offense, but multiple ear piercings looks trashy as fuck, IMO.

So do eyebrow piercings...

The only example of suspension I've ever been exposed to my in life was that movie when the dude would suspend himself over women after he watched them drown.

what movie was that? Cell? Yeah that was it:

hmmm you do take abig leap from piercing to tattoos to suspension might as well thrown in scarification along with ritualistic things such as feet binding, and stretching of the neck.

P.s, that suspension shit looks disgusting and I could not see anybody putting that in their body maybe other then Chris angel. BLAH!

The suspension stuff isn't for me but who am I to say there aren't personal benefits...any chance the op will show the tattoo u are getting?

It looks like that suspension stuff is not actually supposed to stay in your body. Its just inserted into your body whenever you would want to perform a "hanging exercise". Every time you wanted to hang yourself, you would have to re-insert them, I could only imagine the amount of pain that would be inflicted also, being hung by hooks that were pierced through your skin. All of your weight being focused on certain areas. I seen on television a while ago, some hardcore dude stuck a bunch of suspension hooks in his back and was dangling from a helicopter like hundreds of feet in the air. What would possibly possess you to stick giant fish hooks in your back and hang from them? Im just curious :bigjoint:

But, go for the tattoo, or that interesting belly button peircing.
How old are you? if you're at not least 18 you shouldnt be here or getting a tattoo. No offense.
But if you are 18, where are you from? I think most or all states in the US have the age limit of 18 for a tattoo. If not in the us, then this is understandable

where i live (British Columbia Canada) certain piercings (surface, dermal implants, high scaring/risk piercings) you need to be 19 at the shop i go to, i know other places will do more these things but i trust my people, so i play the waiting game
The one tattoo i now have, the elephant playing the piano on my foot, I have two rib pieces planned for next year of the invictus poem on one side (going from just above by breast down to my hip) and a tattoo as a memorial to my cousin who died in action 2008

For everyone who just posted something about piercings being trashy, not good, and you would never do it thank you for your opinion. I totally understand that these things are not for everyone.

Suspension is not permanent they put the hooks in whenever you want to go up, you can be hung from your back (2 or 4 hooks), knees, superman style or sitting. Piercing of any kind looks more painful than it is, you breath in feel a prick, and breath out.
Branding and Scarification are not my thing although if they are yours good for you, my boyfriend has the heartgram symbol of the band H.I.M. branded on his leg.

I would like to point out that I was specific about which piercings I found trashy...

I have 00g ears and previously had a labret + others in my ears (years ago) ... got sick of the labret and everything else.

And I also realized that it was time to grow up a little if I wanted to get to where I wanted in life.... but that's just me.
