pinapple express fem grow

i geminated a pinapple express 2 days ago--she is coming up.my question is how long at 18/6 before i change to 12/12 ? will grow in a 5 gallon bucket tied down if necessary.have a 2x4x6 ft tent it will bud in--growing under cfls till then.growing in pro mix--with fox farm ferts<open sesame,beistie budz,and cha ching>will be budding under a 150 hps and 10 cfls

How do you set timer for 18/8? If you reset for 18/6 (which I recommend), the veg time varies. It depends on how big you want/allow your plant to become before switching lights. Counting the two weeks that are usually assigned to "seedling" stage, it could be from four to twelve weeks. cn

i edited it before your post- but---im sure most people have hit wrong keys on keyboard and seeing im 60 yrs old i deserve a break!!!!---but thanks for that general answer--want no more than 4 foot budded out

usually plants double their size after flowering .. so for a 4 foot plant you would want to change to 12/12 at around 2ft to 2.5ft
