Budder came out pretty weak, i think i used too much butter. 5 sticks for 7 ounces of wet trim. Simmered slowly for 2 1/2 hours. I agitated the mix a ton too

I never weigh my trim so I can't tell you how much I use, but I always simmer for at least 5-6 hours. I would just recook yours man, take all your butter and add more trim and cook again, it WILL get stronger. I did this one time and made some butter that had me tripping literally shit was moving all over the place.

I have, I don't notice any difference when I do. Typically I use a small slow cooker that is actually designed for poppourie. It holds exactly 4 sticks of butter, once it melts I skim off the white scum, and then add trim. I fill it up to the edge with however much that holds, I think a couple cups, I'm gonna measure it all next time I do it to try to figure it up. Any way then I leave it uncovered for several hours, stir and repeat for a total of 5-6 hours cook time. Often times this will end up being late at night, so I just unplug it and leave it till the next day at which point I warm it back up to strain it out. I find this method very simple, no mus and fus with freezing stuff or boiling water, or double boilers and shit. However to each his own, hope it helps.

Oh I also always use dry trim, I'm sure either way would work though.

5 1/2 ounces dry, wayyy lower than originally expected, i really need to amp up my lightning 400w isnt impressing me anymore.

i started growing with this light and i think it might be time to move on.

I think i might go buy a 600w and put the 400 beside it.

That will certainly boost things up! That girl was bushy as hell, so some more light penetration wouldn't hurt at all. Another thought would be to run something like a scrog. I followed a grow on here where the guy was pulling 10 oz out of a cabinet with a parabolic scrog and a 400w. Adding the 600 and a scrog screen might make a HUGE difference in the yield.

I would have to make a RDWC with a controller bucket for a scrog net to work. I might look at DIY'ing one of those together with the shit i already have

I wish I could find a link, but the guy I was watching was using a waterfarm I believe. It was DWC, but had a drain fill hose on the side. You could prolly DYI something just like it, and the yu wouldn't have to move your plant every res change.

The cure is taking ages. Made sure to not dry them too fast but the smell just isnt coming out like previous strains at this stage.

I took em all out and let them breathe today for about 2 hours, really helped i think, they're smelling sweeter already. I think i put em in too wet.

edit: the stems snap but dont break completely off. Before i let em breathe for 2 hours they didnt completely snap, it was actually quite tough to break a stem

I was gonna say they are too wet,but I like to put mine in a little wet myself than I keep jar closed till the buds are spongy than I pull them out and put them on a drying rack with light fan breeze till crisp again and back into jar this moistens my bud evenly and the cure comes out great!! I learned the hard way if you dry them out to much you screw the while cure as once they're dry that's it so I prefer to go more towards the wet side and burp them a lot.

The cure is coming along great, the fruity smell is really starting to show. I've already moved some to family and they love it. Perfect high for a wake and bake / getting shit done. Although dont underestimate it, couple extra puffs and you are fucking GONE baby.

edit: still going to do that smoke report as promised but only when i feel the buds are 100% cured to perfection
