Pineapple Express - Attitude?

I've heard somewhere on here that the genetics to the G13 Labs Pineapple Express was the C99 Pineapple Pheno crossed with Trainwreck. Not sure if the poster knew for sure or was just lying though.
 
why not call it pineapple wreck. Its better than an imaginary strain that some gay hollywood writers created.
 
people at the club here where calling pinapple trainwreck pineapple express, but they were just being stupid. even so that would make more sense than whateve g13 came up with..
 
It is a money making name, just like Purple Haze so the 14 year olds can be like I SMOKED TEH PURPLE HAZE AND TEH PINAPLLE XPRESS!

All marketing.
 
i agree. g13 labs does not have any good strains and they dont even have g13 x in any of there "strains". so why are they called g13 labs? ive had nothing but misery growing attitude freebies

yeah but would you say that if you had,nt already heard the name on the film.
i agree that calling a strain pineapple express because of some film is stupid but it is a better name than pineapple wreck.
 
First off Im going to say I wouldnt trust many seeds from G13 Labs to be quality plants. 2nd theres about no actual information about the strain so I dont think they know shit about the strain. 3rd theyre using the movie to promote, ehh I think Im callin BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully somebody grows it and tells the community all about how nice it is.
 
hahahaha g13 labs, no thanks I wont even take their free beans. dont waste your time or electric on their genetics.
 
I'm growin a few of G13's diesels and to be honest, they're not lookin bad, unlike the Thai SS which aren't indica btw whoever said that, they're mostly sativa. I also got the Pure gold, Pure power, purple lady and gigabud freebies being mothered for clones. Don't knock em just cos they're free.
 
Im not just i know I have 3 Power Skunk that have been flowering for like 12 or 13 weeks now and they look like shmag and Im running 1000w so I dont know whats up with them. I do have 1 Diesel going rite now and she is definately impressing but still like 60 bucks for PE no thanks not at there debut.
 
well i don't think i'd choose G13 labs if i wanted to buy seeds but for free- can't complain.
The pineapple express is blatently just a marketing gimmick but you can't blame them for trying to cash in on a successful film to run a successful company. Business is business.

I knock them because their genetics are shit. been doing this for 15 years and g13 is by far the worst breeder of seeds I ever came across. just my opinion and you have yours.:peace:
 
Shit, My freebees Purple Lady, White widow, Super Skunk, and pure Power are kicking, check out my grow journal. The WW and Purple Lady, I'll prob buy again, There frigging covered in trichomes and cheap. So if anyone want's to toss there freebees in the garbage cause some people complain then everyone hates em' send them to me.

Yeah kinda how they add "wreck" to the end of a strain that has been bred with trainwreck. I dont know.

Leave it to those canadians though for rediculous strain names.

Did the strain come out before or after the movie?

How does the Pure Gold look? I was thinking about germing it and the diesel for shits n giggles
 
I think it's only about 4 inches high at the minute, only germed them a couple of weeks ago, I'll have a look tomorrow for you
 
i had a look on a few seed banks and there is a few "pineapple express" popping up. looks like they are all gonna cash in sooner or later.
antone order from pick and mix seeds before?
i got 3 bb blue cheese and 3 green house seeds white widow and they all ended up going hermie i have growned at least ten crops before and never had this problem before so i am gonna have too pin the blame on pick and mix seeds.
anyone got succes storys
