Growing in a dr90 using a 250w hps, temps are a steady 28C with a 24/0 light schedule, soon to be 20/4.
The plant is about 3 weeks old and waaaay smaller than i would of thought.
Ive been feeding Advanced Nutrients, Micro/Bloom (small amounts) and Root tonic now i am beginning to feed low strength Bloom Nutes.
The plant has recently enters the flowering phase with pistils forming.
The medium i am using is coco 2/3 and perlite 1/3 is 15l air pots.
Here are a couple of pics of her today.

The plants nice and green, cfl above is making it look a bit yellow. As you can see its still very small, the fan leaves only have 3 leaflets.
Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated a so far its not going too well.
Regards, Collie

Have you got enough light on it?? I don'tuunderstand cfl very well at all and I'm more familiar with hps but this could possibly be the cause?

I'm no expert on autos mate I'm still on my first grow now but have learnt alot. When did you start feeding nutes?. From what I gather nutes can be introduced from week 3-4 depending on how its growing and in some cases may not need any, start at qtr strength and work your way up pending how your plant takes and reacts to the nutes. Did you transplant or sew in that pot?. I know your in coco but Did you over water earlier on at all?. Also it could just be the strain,I've sewn 3 northern light autos at different times apart and have varied plants. 1 was exactly like yours and at week 7 is a tiny bit bigger, the 2nd is nearly on week 3 and is x2 of yours then the other on week 3 is simply a monster at 1 foot wide by 8 inches tall and growing daily. I've learnt autos don't like transplant, don't like wet mediums and nutes to early will stunt your plant. That light should be enough for one plant. I'm not familiar with your tent but what foot size is it?

Theres plenty of light, the cfl is just in the room, took the plant out the tent for a better picture. I did start feeding around week 2 with a very mild amount, 1/4 strength around 450ppm. The tent is 90x90x160cm so around 3 foot x 3 foot floor area.
I popped the seeds in the pots there in today, could be down to feeding too early but the plants never showed any signs of over feeding just been growing very slowly. I only ever water until their feeling light or until the top layer 3" is dry.

Lay off the nutes!! Your soil has plenty at that stage. You only should add nutrients to replenish those that have been depleted and you're no-where near that point.

I'm not an expert on autos but from the many threads I've read, they don't care for added nutrients too much to begin with.

how often are you watering them?? that color on the leaves isn't an optical illusion.. it looks like it's in desperate need of N and is way over watered to me...if that is the case you can recover a little.. i stunted a shit load of autos at first.. if you LST that and pin it down it should promote growth http://www.autoflowering-cannabis.com/tie-down-low-stress-trainin.html regardless the reason for stunting i would LST this plant was about as stunted as yours before i tied it down. i planted the same strain about 3-3 1/2 wks later and now they are about at the same stage.. so my heavy LST added a few wks to the grow.. but well worth it considering the increased yield stunt.jpg

Oh shit yea sorry I'm getting confused between someone else's thread who's usin cfl's....as for N deficiency I had the same problem around week 4, the fan leaves start to yellow from the bottom of the plant upwards and happens rather quickly, also the stems on those fan leaves will be purple or red??

Cheers for help guys.
Boston - I'm watering them roughly every 5 days with 2 & 1/2 litres. until there's a little bit of run-off. So would you recommend pinning her right down as flat as she'll go?
Beaves - I'm growing in coco so it started pre-soaked but with nothing added to it so felt i should give her a little something.

Thanks again

you never mentioned PH ?
coco is not inert
it still has some trace minerals
but feedings should of started around week 2 @ very low ppm's
the lower leaves show overwatering or ph issues hard to tell
honestly you dont need much if any run off when there small
2 1/2 liters to me seems like there being over watered and manually locking out N
they need small drinks every couple of days

Looks like you need to flush your medium, It looks like a toxic salt buildup from the nutes your using.
