Pink mold in top bud? (pic)

I finished trimming my green crack (bottom to top), and the main cola bud, which looked fine, appears to have a pink inner life. I am assuming it is a mold. (RH 45% last week, and Temps 66-72). I am just looking to confirm, and learn if other plants in the grow may be in danger. This bud is in the compost pile. The others look fine. Appreciate all experienced advice. (my 4th grow)

The last pic shows the trimmed main bud with the pink on one side (It is throughout).

Cut the branch tips of all the buds that have that asap, bud rot starts at the top and works its way down check your humidity. take all plants out and wipe the walls and floor down

Damn i just saw the whole plant pic, i told u to cut the tips but such a small plant u might as well just see if you can save what little you can and toss that shit

mold needs specific conditions to flourish like this. I'd employ a dehumidifier to keep humidity in check, more air flow/exchange and be sure day and night time highs and low temps are right. Once thats complete you will never see mold in your room or plants again.
without those controls in place its just hit or miss every with every plant/grow
throw moldy buds in the compost

Thanks. I thought I had the grow environment nailed during the autumn too. A De-humidifier fills a 5 gallon bucket when the humidity goes above 50%. I am going to take down the "A" buds on the rest of the plants. I have 3 plants already hanging in an adjacent room vented through the outside to a carbon filter. (I added a fan blowing below the hanging buds there too.)

i just had a similar experience and it was on the top colas only. fan quit working last couple weeks of flowering and that was enough to cause it.

Its not a total waste, you can do a QWISO and the alcohol will kill mold spores. you can make some oil and vape it or use it to bake ;)

there are a few strains that actually have 'pink' trics from tiny pink flowers

in all my years I know of no pink mold or fungi on weed

Make sure to check the inside of the buds that look ok, sometimes they look good on the outside but moldy inside
