Pipe Dream's Tent....C99, Pineapple Express and others.

You know what's hella annoying? When people just leave journals unfinished. You live vicariously through them and then you're like what happened? Did they get in a shootout or go to prison? Well I will finish this at least so I won't annoy myself. Nah but what happened today? I tried to login a 100 times but nothing. Had so much to say too....

What's new: It is 8.5 weeks. The PB/PL looks like it's got weeks left. Doesn't seem very promising either. I have been harvesting buds to smoke for over a week now and the PE and "SC" are amazing. If I must, I might reveg the PE since it will be gone if I don't. I was gonna give the PE and SC to the end of week 9, buyt when smoking a bud of SC I found new baby seeds so I chopped it today. I think the "SC" might actually be Plushberry and someone mislabled it because it doesn't add up, it has a kush taste, and the colors were really coming in with pinks and purps. Not to mention the "PB" is a crazy sativa dominant appearing phenotype.

and hell yah, it is super annoying when people stop a journal half way through.. and of course it always seems to be some strain that you're super stoked to see grow out as you have it yourself or it was something that you were thinking of growing.. it's usually never say greenhouse the church where there is already 1000 other gj's on them, lol..
i often wonder if people get tired of the grow, mommy finds the plants or if they suddenly run into an issue and the plants fall apart on them and they feel too embarrassed to post pix of the plant at that point..

bad news for my last grow.. was growing that sour 13 from drgt's and fucker died at about 6 weeks or so of flower.. right when i went to switch it to flower it started to show all sorts of def's and shit.. tried giving it ton's of heavy feeds and what not, but the thing just didn't want to live, lol..
it was my bad though.. i thought i was being all clever and frugal all at the same time.. i had a pot full of soil from an old grow laying around, so i just threw the sour 13 in that pot hoping for the best i guess... ERROR, lol.. won't be doing that again...

oh well, live and learn i guess.. got some blue dream clones flowering now that are looking really nice, so that's a bonus//

You're right, it seems to be the grows you are interested in and after you follow it for a while. Then, they usually start a new journal and say they are back. Imagine how disappointing it is when you give someone seeds to test and they never go through with it. Of all the seeds I have given for testers, I have never seen a single grow of them for instance.

That sucks about the S13. I have had plenty of issues myself mostly because the water situation where I'm at now. It was so nice to just get good quality water straight from the tap. I want to experiment, but I don't have the numbers to try new things. Admittedly, I didn't want to show any pics of my plants after the plants started to yellow up and the leaves died, but they still fattened up and pulled through to the end. Good luck with the BD, can't wait to see that one.

looks dreamy . You can definitely see the BB influence in those. Have you ever grown any BB or hybrids? I really like them personally.

The PE most likely is the culprit for the small seeds I found. I can't really complain of a couple nanners on the plants at harvest when otherwise it's really good, but I don't think I will try a reveg afterall. I really should harvest it tonight so that the other plant doesn't get pollinated by it, but I'm dreading the trimming. Actually, I think I will remove the plant from the tent, put it in the dark for a couple days and harvest it in multiple sittings. I will update with some pics soon.

I haven't updated this because I've been unhappy with the results. So Just to finish this up here's some pics of what happened and what I'm up to.

Everything was going okay until week 8 because I forgot about the Pineapple Express throwing nanners at this time. All the positive aspects of it clouded my memory. I smoked some samples one day and realized that it had been pollinated and by then it was too late but I chopped everything down. It was a shame so much weed that was good but you know crackled from the tiny seeds forming inside the calyxs. Deseeding it was futile because they are too small to find. So anyways the PE yielded 8.5 oz and with the other 2 plants at 4 oz each, I harvested my first pound. I can only imagine if I had 2 600s rather than a 400 mh.

Then I stuck the 3 girls I was vegging into flower. All 3 were what I picked up at the dispensary that day.I wouldn't have even flowered the Pink Lady, but I didn't have any other plants to choose from. The Poison Haze didn't have great structure but the buds were looking really nice until week 6 I saw the biggest banana on a plant I have ever seen. I could see it plain as day under the HPS light. I figured I'd just cut most of the other plants too in case it gets pollinated again. The bud was alright but premature. Now I had 2 cuts of the strawberry cough and 1 of the Poison Haze so I just threw in the 2 SCs and didn't keep a mom. I'm hoping to see her at her full potential this time finally.

So now I decided to plant only the dankest seeds in my collection and I'm staying away from fems for now. I had some good experiences with them but also quite a lot of hermis now too. It's a shame I really wanted some more OG18 and sour P but maybe next time. I sprouted Querkle, Superstar, SSH, and chocolate rain for this grow. I have been planting seeds too deep again I think. I lost a bunch of seeds damnit.

you bastard, i've been looking to get my hands on a nice strawberry cough strain for ages.. i would kill to have kksc, but at this point i am not so picky..
that sucks about the hermies.. luckily, i haven't had anything herm on me as of yet.. i did let one of dizzle's c99 go too late and the males busted their nuts and i got a few seeds, but it was very few and i wasn't too pissed.. those damn c99's fucking sex quick as dog shit, i wasn't ready for that one.. oh well, live and learn i guess..

i just started a new grew.. i got some strawberry sour d's x cherry ak from gorilla grower, only one of those.. then i think 4 ecsd x aliendawgs from him as well.. some strwbry sour d x alien kush from cannaventure.. that's right, you already saw my mutant pix, lol.. and then 2 fem'ed chocolope kush from dna as well.
might do a journal, not sure yet though..

Didn't you already grow some of those SSD x cherry aks? Whirlybird I think it's called. They sound delicious, I would follow your journal. The c99 does sex quickly, but I never had problems with hermis like I have recently. For one thing they are getting pollinated late in flower not early enough for the seeds to ripen by harvest, and I have better airflow than I used to have which causes the pollen to get everywhere and not just a few seeds in an isolated area.

The SC I have is pretty nice. The buds are really dense and has a good kushy/fruity aroma. I want to say kind of citrusy but maybe it really is strawberry cough. I still think it may have been mislabled and is plushberry, but who knows? The only complaints I have with it is it's a little bit leafy and the trich coverage could be a little better but you know you tend to sacrifice yield for those qualities. Here's some pics without the HPS on for you. I love the pinks in the petioles and the colors really start coming in week 8-2 weeks from now.

I forgot to mention I planted a krazy kush and 2 Sour Grapes seeds I got from the dispensary too. They are supposed to be intentional from a male and female breeding so time will tell. The weed it was in was great and the plants are vigorous and have some color to them too. I have a cut of some deep purple x bubba from my bro I'm attempting to root and the grapeheads and mochalopes I am giving to friend to grow.

yah, i ran some of those whirly birds or w/e they're called before but they were males, so i pulled them, hoping i get better luck this time, but it's the only bean i have left of it, so idk what's gonna happen.. got me fingers crossed though for reals as it sounds sooo good imo..
i got them straight from gg a long time ago for a trade...

i never grew sc but a friend of mine did and he loved it.. said it was a great morning strain with a cup of coffee and the newspaper..

sucks about the males, but it happens. These are the last 2 querkles from when I bought them when they came out. Something always happens to them or they have been males. It's super cool in my veg room so if the myth is true, I will get mostly females.

oh shit, if cool temps bring females, i'm solid.. it's about 50 degrees here, and that's in the living room, lol.. i'm sitting here with a hoody pulled up over me head and me hands are still like ice cubes.. man, i hate winter time.. at least we haven't had any real snow as of yet..

lmao, yah, my room has been freezing at night.. i said fuck this, and moved my seedlings from under a couple of cfls and fired up the 400 two night ago.. nice and warm in that bitch now..

So let's see....The SSH is sporting some preflowers. It looks to be a male. One of the superstars just rotted at the stem base and was hanging on by a thread. I hadn't noticed because from above it looked normal. It was too far gone and I could not support it and it started to wilt so I put it in some water to see if it will grow some roots. Other than that they all look really good. The chocolate rain only wanted to grow 2 tops instead of 4 because it's stout structure so I am mainlining it instead and topped the 2 main branches for 4 colas. I will attempt to clone the 2 bottom branches once the new heads start growing. Seems to be more cocoa kush leaning phenotype and even already has a chocolate/coffee aroma I swear. The flowering girls are just begging for water daily so I think I will need to upgrade to bigger pots if I continue to flower plants this size. They will be coming down soon today is right around 7.5 weeks. Here's some pics, the closeup was taken 1 week ago. I love the contrast and it's one of the best macros I have ever shot. Now if I could just get some more like that.

I cut down 1 of the plants yesterday. I decided to experiment a little and keep the other one in the dark for a couple more days(maybe). 24 hours have passed and I see some difference but not much.
