Pistils count close to harvest, any help?

Hello! I feel my plant is getting close and I've spotted a few amber trichomes. I've been reading though that percentage of red/brown pistils can also give an insight on overall ripeness. Which method so you prefer? Also, can you tell from my pic what percentage do you see in my colas? I would say 60-70% are red but would appreciate another pair of eyes from more experienced growers than myself. Thanks!

I'm a rookie myself, but i'd trim a small nug and bust it open carefully.. check out the trichomes inside. sometimes they ripen from inside out.. sometimes from outside in.. (Well I was told that this one time) Gonna try it when the time comes.

What's the strain? Flowering time for that strain/how long she been in flower? more info needed. Also can we get a close up of the colas? Everything looks hairy and leafy.. unable to zoom in and see clearly. thx

That's useful. But in terms of pistils, it seems that when most of them turn red then it is another sign. I was wondering if the amount of pistils turning, as in the pic, can be an indication.

It's an autoflower Daiquiri Lime, germinated on 29th of May. She started flowering since mid June. Can't take a pic now so hope this can help

Get a jewelers loupe and check the trichromes. It depends on how you like your weed. I like indica with heavy couch lock so ill go about 25% amber. Hybrids I would prob go a little less around 5-10%. From those pics it looks close obviously but we really cant see it.

I'd have to give it a couple more weeks going off the pistils % I still see a lot of white on the bigger colas. Maybe someone else can get a better answer. I'm just going off the glimpse I took, and I'm not very experienced.
