Pistils in seedling stage, is that normal?

Hey guys, I hv been smoking for quite a while now and for the first the time I'm growing weed. I'm growing sativa and I have no previous experience with growing anything. I did notice that my seedling approx 5-6cm has already some orange strands on it. I read that this happens in vegetative stage. Please help me out. IMG_20200408_174414.jpg

If so its already flowered.

Shit even if a single nug comes out id keep it. It looks cool but you should plant some new ones aswell. Idk how you are being with the light schedule? Do you have a consistent schedule?

That soil just won't do. Theres lots of research out there for the finding but the essentials would be nice airy and nutrient rich soil with good drainage. Good soil can make up for a lot of beginner's mistakes.
And make sure you look into lighting requirements also before popping another seed in the dirt.
I hope your next grow is more fruitful :)

LoL, I feel like an idiot answering this :P
But no, I'm growing it in my balcony and I haven't had any help yet. I just planted it and this was the result :/

Thanks for the advice I will surely pay more attention to lighting this time. Does sativa require different lighting schedule than indica? And which soil should I use?

This is exactly where you should start. There are a million questions you dont even know to ask yet. Spend a few hours on research and ask questions after learning the basics. Happy reading!

There are many many websites out there (leafly.ca hightimes.com for example) as well as youtube videos. That's another great place to learn. Best of luck friend

Be extra cautious around Youtube videos. Most of them that I've come across or had pointed out to me are full of complete and utter nonsense.

People who have no idea how to grow telling others of mystical and magical new ways that are "MUST SEE BEST IN WORLD!". In reality, they will mostly harm your grows, not help them. That, or attempt to sell you bullshit you don't need, and likely doesn't even work.

So many of those youtube videos are just some crappy grower that made a video of his crispy fried plants and think they know what they're doing and spread terrible advice. The worst thing is that some on here actually post links to those worthless videos and others look at them and start using some crappy growing techniques. Then they post pictures of crappy plants and many give them accolades and say how great their plants look when their plants look like garbage. I answered in a post once where someone was asking how their plants looked. They posted pictures of plants with dead crispy leaves and nasty looking buds. People were saying things like "Great Job" "Plants look great", etc... I posted the truth that they looked like crap and some got all bent out of shape. I've come to the conclusion that some just don't know what a healthy plant should look like because they're used to seeing nasty overfed plants burnt to a crisp. Many are more focused on how many bottles of crap they can dump on their plants than following proper gardening techniques and growing healthy plants.

is cali green good ???

Hey guys, I have planted two new seeds and I took into consideration all of your suggestions but sadly due to lockdown I can't get the equipments for indoor growing. So I decided to grow outdoor only, temperature is around 39°C. And I'm making sure not to over water and that it gets proper sunlight. As for providing nutrients, I IMG_20200414_154712.jpgam unsure how to feed them, is cow manure a good nutrient? I have space only for one plant and I'll have to be cautious with the smell when it arrives. So, I'm posting pics of both the plants and hope that they grow to be healthy, these are after one week. They are most probably mango Sativas as it is the only strain I get from local suppliers.IMG_20200414_154725.jpg
