Pistils turning brown and "shriveling" up-Only about 3 weeks into flowering?

i'm having the same issue. there is literally only one calyx with shriveled pistils.
no 'buds' forming yet, it's just dead all by it's self..
it's an auto though.

I see a couple calyxs. It's only recently started to flower it looks and you have like 8 weeks left so sit back. Relax. And start some new seeds for next time. And remember...it's all about the journey
 
Happening to me as well. Only on the lower stems are being affected and buds are getting hard as well too. Happening to two plants different strains.

It's progressing normally But I wish you had pruned it to give you mb four larger buds rather than a lot of small ones. But it's all good and it's all smokable.

Second picture from the left is a full body shot of the plant. I have her tied down because if I have to raise the lights anymore, the rest of the plants wont be receiving enough light due to the distance.

um, I'm pretty much a newbie but those plants look like toddlers.. let em grow up first??
 
Are your lights on at night or during the day? Should run them at night, if you aren't already. Power is cheaper at night, and temps are easier to manage. I think it looks ok though, mostly just preflowers fading.

Here's a bud shot from my garden at 3-weeks flowering under 600w hps as a comparison:

Did this plant finish growing fully? And was those pistols that turned brown an tips turn out to be anything major? Because I'm having the same problem now
 
Too early for any hairs to be turning color. Maybe if you were near week 5.
Pistils turn color early from too much nutrients or because theyve been pollinated.
I cant imagine big bloom, being very weak and basically a micro nutrient feed, would burn. So im guessing your soil is too hot for the genetics you're running.
But you should be fine. I have burnt up pistils early too and everything finished fine.
 
This is a real old thread, but its not uncommon for early pistils to turn orange and recede. This is normal, they are replaced by new pistils as the bud and calyxes bulk and grow.

wind and light can also cause premature pistil damage, which will also make them turn Orange and recede

I think your right it maybe wind damage as I did have a 9inch oscillating fan just above the canopy..so I've now put the fan on the floor tilting upwards a little bit..hope that stops it's from getting worse
