2 weeks in flower and woke up this morning to see pistils are brownish here and there. What’s the cause? Or is it normal?
I only have plants that’s still in veg with no sign of sex. I’ve watched for hermi i see no signs out it yet. Hopefully it is just the strain type. I’m new to the inside scene so idk if temps or something could cause it as well. It won’t let me upload a pic.More than likely strain related. Not all plants react the same way. I had a strain never brown up until about the 3rd to last week of flower, then she exploded with orange/brown everywhere. Some just do it earlier then others. It’s also believed to be that pollen has entered your room and that’s a cause of the browning early in flower. Just check her underside and make sure you don’t have any sacs. I’m not gonna route that possibility out, but I would look just to make sure you done have a hermie and she isn’t pollinating herself.
Check for hermie flowers at the bottom of all tour plants... brown pistols can indicate they have cought some pollen2 weeks in flower and woke up this morning to see pistils are brownish here and there. What’s the cause? Or is it normal?
You won’t see any signs of hermie until you flip to flower. Some strains are even resistant to showing any preflowers during veg.I only have plants that’s still in veg with no sign of sex. Did you spray anything?2 weeks in flower and woke up this morning to see pistils are brownish here and there. What’s the cause? Or is it normal?
I have 1 in flower. Mine never showed preflowers and just got to bushy. Sucks i can’t upload a pic. Lights are also always 16-20 inches away. You won’t see any signs of hermie until you flip to flower. Some strains are even resistant to showing any preflowers during veg.
I did. I read about using foliar spray with molasses in early flower. I believe I’ll stop that and see what happens.Did you spray anything?
Just molasses/and a bloom booster. I pH and use PPM pen. Maybe to many nutes to early in flower? What are you feeding? Heavy doses of nutrients can cause pistils to turn brown.
Spraying your plant can cause pistils to go brown. Don't spray anything in flower,I have 1 in flower. Mine never showed preflowers and just got to bushy. Sucks i can’t upload a pic. Lights are also always 16-20 inches away.
