Pistols or no?

It’s my first grow, and I didn’t exactly start off with the right or strongest equipment (MG advanced potting mix, a simple dual head grow lamp off amazon, and a makeshift grow box out of cardboard boxes and foil lined inside. Not anywhere correct likely, but I honestly never expected it to sprout, so I’m proud of it so far.
If you wanna see it through you’ll have to make sure your lights are enough watts to flower it. Good luck

Thanks, that does clear it up a little. I’m just curious as to how soon should I expect those with how my plant is doing at the moment. Or like how can I confirm they’re pistils, like Will a lot show up at once or? Because when the new branches at the base formed, they appeared to be pistils, until they started growing leaves.
I have a plant that was about your size when i threw it into a flowering light cycle. Well 6 3/4” to be exact. It took 11 days to show sex and Grew nearly 10” straight up before throwing pistils. Its a fairly sativa dom hybrid. If that helps you let me know.

Thank you. Is there a lowest wattage amount to make it flower?
Hey, found this online. Basically 35-50 per sf.

Quick Guide (watts per coverage area)
1' x 1': 32 watts (~30 to 40 watts)
2' x 2': 128 watts (~120 to 140 watts)
2' x 4': 256 watts (~240 to 300 watts)
3' x 3': 288 watts (~250 to 300 watts)
4' x 4': 512 watts (~500 to 650 watts)
5' x 5': 800 watts (~700 to 900 watts)
4' x 8': 1024 watts (~900 to 1100 watts)
6' x 6': 1152 watts (~1000 to 1200 watts)

Helps a ton actually, I’m really thankful to know other people personally telling me that they’ve started at the same height. I’ve seen articles about it but a personal account always wins. I’m just unsure about the strain, not sure if you can tell what it’s dominant as going by the pictures I provided, but would you have any idea if it’s more sativa or indica?

Huge update!! I was taking a look, and I really think these could possibly be the first pistils? I’m including 6 photos, and the spots of interest are circled. There’s some that definitely appear to be tiny hairs, not branches, plus, the inside of that new set appears to be very white in color. Yes those are pistils... but it plant will still stretch a bit and still look like a stick.

Any reason you WHY you didnt want to give it
“ structure “ by vegging it out first ? The buds that will be useable for the most part will be only those at the top ( and area of light penetration depth ) .
It really would have been a better starting point for you instead of cultivating a single top.

Well, being my first grow, I didn’t know anything before i started, most of my knowledge has come here which I’m thankful for. Second, since it’s my first, I wanted a lot smaller yield so I can see how the process is done before doing more to it and increasing it.

Forgive me if it’s a dumb question, but what part are the stipule? Is that what comes right before pistils? Still new to a lot of this.
I posted a pic when you first asked that question that pointed out every part of the plant. Go back to page 1
