"Pitbull" 30-40 day flower time??

Is it true it flowers off 30 -40 days? ..I have a couple in my garden and just want to learn more about it...:mrgreen:

I've seen some Sensi Hash Plant be very well done at 42 days so I'm guessing anything is possible. The issue with all these very early flowering strains is they don't produce much weight at all, maybe like 1/2 oz. Sometimes it doesn't seem worth it.

Nothing is going to flower within 6 weeks of 12/12 if that's what you mean.
I wouldn't trust them based on their 30-40 day recommendation, but you could find something nice. Just give it time to mature forget what the package says.

Wrong. There are a few strains out there I've grown that were done around 42 days. But, maybe just one pheno within the strain. But they are around.

Additional comments:
This sample was very frosted. I took a while to examine the bud, which when acquirred was covered in frosted sugar leaf. This leaf was frostier then most buds.. so I wasn't complaining by any means. I took a little time and trimmed down the nugget, under neath the frosted leaves was trichome heaven. There were trichomes on the trichome's trichomes. The bud had many lighter colors all playing with one another. There was a hue of blue-green underneath the layer of frost. My samples stem was green, not red.The smell was tight to the bud and reminded me of menthol and incense.

Smoke test comments:
The smoke on this had a sizable expansion. If I took too big of a hit the smoke would force its way up and out of my lungs while I was inhaling. The taste was minty and hashy and left my mouth feeling like I had inhaled some Vic's vapor rub or washed my mouth out a few minutes prior.

Final comment:
The stone was fairly quick to take effect starting at five minutes. With every hit my body pulsed with an anxious feeling. When the full effects of this stone hit me it was like being in the blinding sun. My eyes felt so red it was as if someone had maced me. I felt creative and social, but it was hard to get past the physical effects of this high. I would try to communicate with the people around me, but I was, at times, a bumbling idiot. Several times I said things that I didn't mean to say out loud or I thought one thing and said another. I was very dehydrated and hungry. My mind was like a memory sequence in the movies, moving from one memory to the next vividly. I was entranced by my own thoughts. It is possible that at the peak of this high I had auditory hallucinations.. or there was someone downstairs watching TV at that moment.. Either way I was stoned enough to wonder for ten minutes what just happened. I found this strain incredibly enjoyable, so enjoyable I was considering doing a smoke report on the leaves I trimmed off. Paired with it's appearance and how nice of a smoke it was this sample of Red Stem Afghani became one of my Best smokes of 2012.

its not a 42 day strain . .i found out recently its a 70-80 day strain, but the way i was growing it was for 7 weeks, early PK boost cutting of specif nutrients like nitrogen late in flower

next time around im taking her 80 . . . ill post that review when it happens

This is unbelievable. According to the Stoney Girls seeds website they have a sativa strain that finishes in 28 days of flower! I call BS!

Berkeley is some kid’s science project from Berkeley University, or so the legend goes. She is the fastest finisher I have and she produces incredible amounts of sugar. Outside she will get 14 feet tall with an eight foot diameter. Even the fan leaves and stems grow crystals. The high is a speedy, up type high. Don’t try to take a nap on this, and expect anxiety attacks if your hyper. Very good early but comes with a “warning” label for its rib breaking expansion characteristics. With this breed you can really get some stuff done. We use this strain to speed up slow, long varieties in our breeding program. It finishes in a whopping 28 days of bloom cycle. It is a South American sativa based land race plant.

I thought there was no way a strain could ever finish in 35 days until I got a cut of pitbull. At 35 days its really strong but more of a headbuzz but if you let it go 42 days its really a couchlock Buzz. The weight is low due to the fact you're cutting them way early. longer veg times help a bit. I have let them go 8,9, even 10.5 weeks to see if it got better and after the 8th week the Buzz disappears. So I can say its a true 42 day plant....
