Actually… I had never heard of the show until I went to the vet for the first time. And they asked me that question. And now everyone asks or assumes.

Bluey is Australian slang for a redhead. Like how we say ginger but more endearing and less derogatory. And since he is a Australian Cattle Dog AKA Red Heeler I was like fuck I'm clever! Then come to find out there's a whole goddamn super popular show about a Cattle Dog named Bluey. I've actually just been calling him Boy now. Lol.

Bandit is a blue heeler and Chili is a red heeler. Bluey and her sister are heelers. All of Blueys family are heelers

My dad had a setup like this when I was kid. Huge speakers. I remember sitting right in front of the speakers listening to Led Zeppelin, Doors, Hendrix, CSNY, etc. with the sound cranked, so I could feel the music in my chest. I wasn't allowed to touch anything! It was one of the prized possessions in the house for sure.
That and the suitcased sized vhs player haha. Id do anything to be sitting there again.
