If I want to quick dry some nugs here is what I do (takes 3-4 days). First trim them down and let them hang in a cool dry place for at least one day with a fan on it. Then find a cardboard box, for example a box a shitty X-mas sweater would come in. Put buds in box propping up a corner of the box to expose air (I usually put a small bottle on the inside). Now make sure top of the box is weighed down so the top doesn't blow off when you place a fan besides the box and blow the air directly into the exposed portion allowing for max air circulation. This should all take place in a dark dry environment. I have found this is the quickest way to dry buds without killing the flavor, and use this method when I need to dry some smoke fast (i.e. ran out before my next harvest was ready). I've also heard of people putting wet buds in brown paper bags and letting them sit in a dry environment for a couple days. Makes sense that this would work too.
For good curing methods check out fdd's harvesting guide, I'm pretty sure its a sticky. FYI - If you want your harvest to reach its full potential there really is no substitute for a proper cure.
