It was to my understanding that molasses water would not hurt the plant in the veg cycle.. I could be wrong tho.

i mean u can, its not gonna hurt ur plants, but ive heard it will slow the growth of the plant way down and to only use it during the last 2-3 weeks of flowerin cuz ur plants wont b gowin much larger from that point, and then u would add molasses to boost resin. but try it for urself and see what happens, im gonna take other peoples advise to not use it durin veg. good luck

I was going to move to some better nutes soon anyways... I think I am going to take your advise and hold off on the molasses until the end.

what would you say if I was going to trim off the topmost fan leaves to allow light to reach the growth below?
Is this ok to do... or a big nono?

i wouldnt trim any of the fan leaves...especially top growth..unless you are topping or fimming.

we are getting close to flower I hope!!!
the lowest single leaf is experiencing major interveinal chlorosis, so it may get the ax... which I read is an OK practice. the turned up leaves aren't unturning, is there something more here than what I figured for Mg Def. (pictures below)?
Other than the Mg... the plant is still doing well, and growing. So it is not locked out, I will try to check the PH of the little thing today to see if it needs a flush, but I do not want the chlorosis to move up the plant anymore. I have been foliar and root feeding the Epsom solution, but I do not know how to tell if it is healed yet or not.
Plenty of pictures of the growth and of its ailments as well. Thoughts welcome.
P.S. Some of the spots you see on the upper most leaves are burns from water drops and light.

pH level of this little on is right at 6.3... slightly acid, but not too bad for the ph as far as that's concerned... maybe the bent up leaves are permanent, oh well only aesthetic to the plants growth. I wont be smoking the fan leaves.

aesthetic in the sence that i don't care if they look wrinkly... I know those are my factories on the plant... I guess I wasn't as eloquent as I needed to be.
So clipping that single leaf isn't unheard of is it?

dude, I'm by no means an expert, but in a lot of the pictures your girl has droopy leaves, which is usually an indication of moisture stress, you should check out this website if you haven't seen it already.

Im sticking with the Magnesium deficiency...
my plant fits all of the symptoms to the T... the funny thing is this plant is still growing without abandon. if you look at my entire thread, I have done actual watering like 3 times(above a few teaspoons outside of seedling). so overwater is not an option, underwatering is tough because on some days I feed the root system via my tray, it sucks up the water, but I make sure it has what it needs and never over do it.
ill look around and see if moisture stress is a viable option.

How much epsom salt do you use per gallon? Do you constantly have epsom salt water in the tray?
Don't get me wrong I have used epsom salt. Twice... I am in the first week of flower. Switching to molasses soon
Using too much of that shit is horrible. Sounds like you had a minor problem, and tried to fix it. But went a little over board. Stop with the epsom salt if you keep feeding your plant epsom salt !

One more thing.
I use 1/3 of teaspoon per 2 liters not much at all. I would not suggest using it as a spray.

thanks for the info... that is great to know.
this was the first major speed bump I have encountered and I got a little excited I will admit.
The ratio of the Epsom was 1 Tablespoon per gallon, a little on the heavy side compared to your mix. No I do not constantly have it in tray, I usually feed like this every other day... and once that day.
I will test the Ph of the soil in a day or two and flush if it is too acidic. thanks for the info everyone!
