give 1.7mS (1200ppm) at ph 5.8 until your runoff has the same value
then continue to feed everyday with this solution, with large runoff everytime

after a watering or two i advise you to recover the runoff from your pots and reuse it
just adjust it's values of ph/ec

Why are you advising me to make a stronger solution? Just a question, im new at this

is that coco+perlite ? this medium is very oxygenated don't let it dry out too much

600ppm for coco/hydro is not enough
measure the ph/ec of the runoff to see what's really going on inside your medium

Yes coco/perlite. I started off watering not enough so the ec was climbing because of salt build up. I then flushed with diluted solution to bring it down to 600 ppm. I base my feeding off a chart from cocoforcannabis

yeah you probably have salt buildup
and feeding low at 600ppm is not the answer

you need to water with large runoff each time (20% runoff is not enough) to reset the ph/ec of the coco, by rinsing the accumulated salts

I'm saying, I already got run off ec back down to 600 ppm by rinsing a couple times

ah ok, in this case you must do the same but with a solution of 1.7mS
600ppm is ridiculously low, its around 0.8ms
your leaves should be healthy green and praying to the light

Right, imma up some pics in a lil while, keep in mind they're only 3 weeks old. I think the chart recommended low dosage to keep from burning the plants but also gives me room to tweak and raise the ec. It may have been a little better if he gave me like a range to be within

This is how they look with 600 ppm, 5.8 ph, around 75°F average and 42% RH. I planted them in coco/perlite 37 days ago but didn't give em nutes til 2 weeks old. What you think?
Also I topped both about a week ago

no nutes during 2 weeks ?
man you must give nutrient everytime you water, and set the ph

next time the pots become a bit lighter make a mix at 1200ppm ph 5.8 and water with big runoff
don't recover this runoff

then repeat this procedure everytime the pots become lighter (top will become clearer)
when they get healthy recover the runoff, adjust the EC/pH and mix it with your feed
change your solution every 10 days to be preventive

i insist on the big runoff, you can't give too much
not enough yes, but not too much

also your pots arent high enough to recover properly the runoff
you need a 10liter bucket under each plant

My saucers are setup to auto drain into a bigger bucket. But you only reuse your run off water when rinsing coco with stronger or weaker solution after the runoff ec closely matches the intake ec? I'm just trying to clear up "recover your runoff"

you put your solution in bucket A, the pump will water with it

then the runoff will flow to the bucket B

you readjust ph and ec value of this runoff (i do it in a 3rd bucket, bucket C)

then when the solution level in bucket A is low, you take the solution from Bucket C and pour it in bucket A

etc..

So pretty much recirculating dwc with coco. I bet you barely ever run out of nutes, just ph buffer
