Ok thx u an no I mix it in with warter then put that on the plants and then plain warter to get it wartered
thats almost as bad. mix the fertilizer in the whole volume of water and apply it to the plant, otherwise you get hotspots and dead zones in your soil mix.
i usually use osmocote pellets, since they stay on the surface and dissolve over waterings like a Tit Tac, and if you put in too much you can pick it out easily.
when i use a water soluable fertilizer i use it at 1/4 the recommended dosage until the plant
demands more, preparing it for each pot based on their size and the water retention of the soil. a 5 gallon bucket of Miracle grow potting soil will take up as much as 2 gallons without becoming too soggy, and a 75/25 mix of coco coir and perlite can hold double that in the same bucket easily.
then i only water when the plant insists it's time. giving the plant the 40-50% of it's soil volume in water as needed. remember you water the soil not the plant, and cannabis uses more water when it's hot and sunny than it does when it's cloudy and cool.
its the same for tomatoes, corn, cucumbers strawberries and any plant. too much water or fertilizer kills even faster than too little.
if you think you have given it enough water or fertilizer, you have given it WAY to much, if your worried you havent done enough, your probably still overdoing it slightly.
