Plant Dying! (PICS)

Here's the status:

-Shiva 6 weeks into flowering
-Rubbermaid aeroponic system
-Fox Farm nutes
-Feeding @ 3/4 according to feeding chart

One of my plants has completely turned yellow, and leaves are curing under, but aren't dried out, just losing all its potential.

Do I harvest this plant early?

the only thing wrong that I can see is some root zone issues with the plants displaying slightly under or overwatered. either increase your spray intervals or decrease them- also airing out the res 2x a day to get some 02 into that rootzone along with an airstone would help alot.
As for the yellowing, u r right on schedule if you have 2 weeks to go. the yellowing process is somewhat normal towards the last 2 weeks before harvest. the purpling you see intervienally is from the low N levels along with the yellowing. may have a bit of K deficiency too but there seems to be plenty of leafy green material from which the plant can draw any reserves it needs.

I would be more concerned with the droopiness of them as this will cause you more problems that being low on food.
other wise the buds look good and would say you have 2-4 weeks to go.

Alright I tried to save her.. but when I woke up today she was toast. Crispy, all the leaves curled and yellow/brown

Soo now the question is... Do I go ahead and take it down? Cure it and Smoke it? Or do I leave it in there..

I think the plant got a bad case of root rot cause the roots are a darker brown than the other plants (roots are brown from nutes, Fox Farm)

What to do what to do...

what percentage of the pistils are brown? six weeks can be all it takes sometimes...
plus all the leaves are supposed to yellow during flowering since the plant is focusing on the buds. I know buds can continue to get more mature both on a dying plant and even when harvested if you leave the lights on...ask an expert.

Oh I thought the light actually reduced the thc levels in the bud.. Hmm let's get some more opions.

So do I pull the plant or not?
There's two different strains it could be, kali mist or shiva. I got the seeds from some bud I picked up and figured that would be a good start.. Lmk what you guys think!

Oh and yes a good amount of the hairs are orange, not all of them but they've been turnin orange for a good 3 weeks or so

Well mother F'er.
I've discovered my greatest enemy in my op.
High res temps= ROOT ROT.

I'm going to make this post as detailed as possible to try to get the best solution to my issue:

Lighting:
-1000w HPS in Sunsystem hood
-171 cfm inline 4" fan pulling air through hood, exhausting out of room

Room:
-Bathroom approx 9x5
-Tile flooring
-Shower mylar wrapped

System:
-Rubbermaid Aero system (roughneck)

-Room also has 9000 btu portable air conditioner, I can keep the temps in the room around 77, nothing lower.

What would you guys suggest I do to keep my res temps down?
I'm getting water temps up to 84!!!!

I do put frozen ice jugs into my res to lower the temps, but this only keeps the lower for a couple hours, and I'm not here 12 hrs a day to swap the jugs out.

I really don't want to have to go to the water chiller, thats a bit expensive.

Anyone have any other methods to lower res temps?

I live down in the south and it gets hot as hell here..

Thanks for any suggestions.

maybe there is some kind of aquarium temp. control that you can buy...but you should definitely get a loupe or something to look at the trichomes on the bud, you might be ready to harvest already and that would make temp control irrelevant.

i had this happen in my last grow. i ended up cutting down a week early bc everything was frying quicker and quicker. If you find a resolution to this problem great, but if i were you i would probably chop. I still dont know what caused it bc the plants had the same conditions as before with very succesful grows. good luck man

Yeah I had to chop it.. :(
The root rot was starting to spread to the plant next to it so I decided to cut it down. The buds came out like shit, light and really fluffy, and already crispy. Now I just have to try to keep temps down to save my other two I have left.

I'm using Fox Farm nutes I think that's why hydrogen peroxide isn't really helping..

Sucks I had to sacrafice this one early.. She was my superstar a couple weeks ago.

I tell ya this is harder than it looks and I have a lot more respect for growers, shits not easy.

I went thru the whole summer of 1987 smokin the fan leaves off of my one and only plant. Ended up being a FEMALE tho, grown outside, about 50 feet from my house. 12 feet tall, too. Back to the point. Any buds gotta be better than no buds. Fan leaves taste like shit and really stink when smoked. Wonder how they'd vape?

Ah man that's nuts! But that is one huge plant! I have the buds curing now, I figured the cure time will probably be short since the plant was already dried out since it hasn't been uptaking water for a while now, I'll give you guys a smoke report probably tomorrow, since some of the smaller buds were practically crisp.
The stems were already drying out too, I could break them by bending them.
I hope my other plant doesn't get taken over by this root rot, this stuff is pretty serious. I think its a well looked over issue, because the plants don't really bounce back like a nutrient def. or something like that.
I wish there was a write up on how to get rid of it, I couldn't find anything

the easiest way to cool your res and cheapest too, is to have a fan blowing over the top of the res-will knock off up to 10 degrees and also have a more optimal-less humidity-root zone. hook up a 4" inline duct fan either blowing into or sucking out of. 84 degrees will bea killer everytime. if u top off your res every day, which you should be, than try using a gallon of water from the freezer that is just above 32 degrees

If your res. is in the flower room and your ac pulls down to 77 and you use h2o2 you should be fine ?!
