Plant going bad => emergency harvest 3 weeks early

I just noticed that my larger plant in flower has taken some damage from the lighting. Much of her top foliage is fried. Just thought that I could flush and do an emergency harvest though it's not scheduled for another two weeks, before the situation gets any worse. What do you think?
And yes, I know now growing two really big plants is stupid. I know until next time to grow a handful smaller ones instead.

I had this issue happen to me on a previous grow were the main bud of a plant was touching the cooltube and thus got fried, I just cut the fried part out and let it continue to go. Its not a problem if you got some scorched buds just cut out the burnt buds and continue. Fix the problem with the light being too close too.

I would also just trim the bad stuff off and either raise the light or tie the top up and pull it over and down.

I always mange to scorch some of my top buds. I dont even cut it out I kinda leave it alone to shield whats under it. The rest of the plant should finish filling out no problem. Why waste all the time and energy you put into it by harvesting a few weeks before its ready? Ride it out and get the most out of her.

OK, this perticular plant doesn't drink anymore. The water level in its bucket has remained the same for three days now. I'm cutting it down.

No don't cut it early, it will be fine do you have room to move your light up?the burnt tips will not look good but the rest will continue to grow

yeah man let it be. What do you have to lose. If the plant dies then cut it down but its not dead you burnt the top a little and its not drinking water. How do you know, it just may not need that much right now. I think your looking for an excuse to cut it down honestly cause your impatient to wait for the smoke lol. Either way do what you want you've been informed on what your options are and have been advised to leave it be but if you wanna chop then chop it up my friend and smoke away. She has the ability to give you much more quality bud if your patient and you give her the chance to. Good Luck with whatever you chose to do.

Seems to me someone is just looking for a reason to cut early so they can get to the good part of smoking it....

My best friend is the same way. Every batch he swears up and down he won't cut early, every batch he has some dumb reason why he has to cut them all early. Of course the real reason is because he is out of smoke and doesn't want to buy some to hold him over.

Man, last night's episode of Walking Dead sucked, fuck it I am going to go cut all my plants down now!

I'm not looking for an excuse to harvest early. It's just that I need the space if the plant's seriously finished. I have a very limited floor space in my grow tent and I can't this much of it.
