I picked out the seeds from some bud I bought and germinated/planted one of them as an experiment. Its been around 3 weeks, and its still very small. I looked online at what other plants looked like at 3 weeks and they were all well developed with several sets of leaves, and in comparison, mine still looks like its in its first or second week. Being a high school sophmore, I don't have the resources for grow lights...or soil. I used some dirt that was going to be moved to our garden, thinking that it must be at least somewhat fertile. I also haven't used any fertilizers, and the plant sits on a ledge under my window on the west side, so it only gets a few hours of direct sunlight. Is the slow growth caused by the lack of light, or could something be wrong with the plant? Also, is there any way to tell if it is indica or sativa at this point?
