Plant has no buds yet!

So I planted these plants the first week of march and have been taking very good care of them. They are in soil and I am using general hydro nutrients, I have 2 600 watt hps lights in there, clean air in and dirty air out. I'm not sure when I went to 12/12, I know it was quite some time ago and my plants are barely opening and don't seem to be budding but have been flowering. Any suggestions as to what's wrong?

Yes pics....also it takes about 2 1/2 weeks to see puffballs which are precursors to buds. True buds take about 5 weeks of 12/12 before they look like the buds you smoke.

Are you positive that your timers are working right? No other source of light? If theyre getting 12 hours of true darkness flowering should begin. Some sativa varietues take a very long time to bud.

My timers are on 12/12 and I check them multiple times a day and they turn off an on at the right times. I never open it during the dark period so the plants can make their special hormones. I will pull a couple of the plants out this evening when my lights turn on and post them. The guy at the grow shop said he uses soil and uses the same nutes and he said they work awesome. The plants are super healthy looking. I have sour diesel and blackberry kush.

Do you have any idea of when you changed the light cycle? Was it 2 weeks ago? 6 weeks ago?

It is highly unlikely that nutrients or water would cause a plant not to flower if they were healthy when you went to 12/12. Are you sure the lights are going off? You can opent the room right before lights on to make sure everything is in order.

Are their pisitils showing at all?

It was about 7-8 weeks ago when I changed to 12/12. I've been checking them everyday to make sure the lights go on and off. The pistols are showing and have a ton of hairs coming out and a few of the bottom branches are opening up quite a bit. Could it take up to 10-12 weeks for them to bud?
