Plant in week 8 of veg an still not showing sex!

Hey fellow cannabis enthusiast, I’ve ran in a bit of a wall. In my grow tent I have a bag seed in week 8 of veg (18/6 light cycle) and it’s still not showing sex! And trust me it’s not because I don’t know what sex it is, it’s literally showing no signs of sex. No balls/pollensacks and no pistols/hairs. Shouldn’t it sex naturally? I also have an auto flower in the tent so I would like so I don’t want to force it by switching to 12/12 but it’s starting to look like that might be the only way..... any thoughts? This has me completely stumped

Some strains don't show sex while in veg at all. I've only run into a few of these over the years.

It sounds like you've only got a single photo plant, so instead of flipping the tent to 12/12, you could simply remove the plant from the tent and stuff it into a dark closet for 12 hours a day for a few days, until it shows sex.
