I am growing Aurora Indica, which is mostly indica and from Nirvana. Feminized, this is my first grow with this strain. I have a 9 site recirculating DWC with a 600w in a DR120 grow tent (4x4). I switched lights to 12/12 on October 3. They showed sex in a few days. I am using GH nutes on the Lucas Formula feeding schedule. I have a 24/7 PH meter and an external res. I check the PPM daily. I did let it run up past 2000 ec for a short while. I am running 2 stanley blowers, one for the air cooled light which is exhausted to the attic. One for the carbon scrubber(can 33). The intake was passive, and it was pulling a good amount of lights. I put a long enclosed fan sideways under the canopy to get air moving and I have a 8" fan blowing on the tops of the plants.

I started noticing some issues on the fan leaves on the one closest to the light. All the plants are not affected. Only the ones closet to the light. My temps went a little high (low 80s) for a little bit, as well as the humidity. I ordered a 6" duct booster and put duct to my window AC unit. It now blows directly into the grow. I also run a large dehumidifier in the room. The temps are better now, as well as the humidity. Here are the pictures.

I think that 2000 ppm caught up with ya. im a soil guy, but ican tell you that IMO they look burnt a little. Should be fine but id be careful on those ppms. Good luck and good growing

I am split between believing it is nute burn or heat problem. I would assume all the plants would be burned the same if it were nutrient related. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, I already dropped it down below 1900. I never targeted 2000, I just got lazy and didn't refil the res with fresh water for a week. I aim for 1800-1900 usually.

It got a little worse today I think. Heat has been under 80 at tops of plants, lower towards bottom. Res is around 1850 ec. Was recently changed(5 days, right after problem started showing). PH 5.9. Res temp is 70. Roots look great. Small sugar leaves on top buds aren't affected except maybe a tiny bit of heat stress. I am raising the light higher and turning the ac down a few degrees. I only have a couple weeks left in flower so I doubt it would be a huge issue either way. I still worry, ya know?

I'd lower the ppm even more man, they're getting pretty crispy by the look of it. Classic nute burn symptoms.

also what's your waters starting ppm, just remember ANYTHING you add to your water is gonna raise your ppm's.. Doesn't look like the light burnt them or even heat stress. Get some calmag. By time I'm done adding all my additives and shit my ppm's are usually between 2500-3000 ppm

If its getting worse after treating it that way, then its not burnt by light or nutrients.....
But rather a deficiency or lockout of some sort...

Is it possible to have a nute lockout in DWC after the reservoir has been changed and the pH is correct?

The old lady used all my epsom salt on her feet I guess, Ill have to buy some more today. When I topped off the res today I let the ph go up to 6. If I remember correctly magnesium uptakes better 6+
