Do you have a picture? It would help us to help you figure out what's going on. Just by your description though, it sounds like it could be heat stress. Either the light is too close, or the temps are too high.
I agree I need to get a digital camera. However the smaller of the two isn't as bad maybe it is heat stress being the taller one is closer. I keep my 400w air cooled and at least 12in away Temperature at the canape is 75-80 usually stays around 77 so I find it hard to believe its heat stress but im no expert with this being my second grow.
Move the light to 18", see how they react. You can help with that also, by having a fan blowing across the plants at the level of the canopy. Different strains react differently, to heat, light, nutes, temps, the whole nine yards. So if you try a new strain - what worked for the previous, may not work again.
