Plant killing made easy

So....I bought a Deluxe Hydrofarm Habitat, brand new, from a buddy who has a tractor & plant store for 100 bucks. It was not known if it was going to kill the plants or not, and he warned me up front of the potential. Well, everything was going fine until the plants basically stopped growing after 2 weeks, and then some started getting tip burn on their oldest leaves, even though they never had nutes, and then some started turning yellow (much like sulfur or iron deficiency looks) inside their newest growths...well these are the signs of the pvc grow tents killing plants....so I immediately emptied a clothes closet and moved my grow into there. I am going to use a bucket and an air stone to hand feed the plants until I can get a cabinet that will hold my ebb & flow table built. After just 15 hours in the new closet, they are all perkier. The closet is painted flat beige, but I may just let that ride, because I should have my new closet built by mid-week. If things come up, I am going to mylar the closet.
The first pic is from March 28th, and the second is same plant from March 29th.......not a single thing was changed in these 24 hours......it is the hydrohut (et al) killing machine at work!!! The last two pics are how the yellowing is starting. I am pretty sure I have saved them, but DAMN!!

Gas Is Cheaper, Next Time, Takem Out Back, Threten Them...and Then Showen The Gas....they Might Snap Out Of It.....lol. Just My Thoughts

There was 10 seedlings....only the pictured 3 showed those signs...the rest have not....so I think I saved at least 7 for sure.

oh yeah.....I told them if I don't see at least an inch and 5 new fingers by this time tomorrow then it's back into the hut for a slow painful death!!!!! One already produced enough bud for a joint....already dried and cured...and lit it for me!!!!

that's crazy man, I've got myself a homebox closet and I'm doing pretty well in there. I had 3 of 6 die(well i refuse to trash them yet, but pretty well dead) but I'm just blaming myself for putting them in miracle grow and over watering off the start. My other three are growing like champs..it's my first grow, done cfl and i'm at 12-15inches after 5 weeks in full out veg

What exactly is a PVC grow tent? I just bought this High Tech Garden Supply
grow tent from HTGSupply.... I haven't started growing in it yet (just got it put together.) Is this the type of tent you are referring to as a plant killer? God I hope not....

thats actually the exact one i have, just i have the size smaller than that. I'm no expert by far, but I'm doing well with that tent. I just keep a fan blowing in fresh air 24/7 from the outside and I'm using all CFL's so the light isnt really too hot or strong for the confined area.

The hydrohut and the hydrofarm habitat are the only ones that I have talked to people who 100% have had this problem with....and then I have talked to many that have had killer grows with them. All my research on the Homebox has not showed this problem. You can not currently buy a habitat or hydrohut new, unless it is old stock, like mine was. I know alot of people on here (loudblunts where are you) SWEAR by the Secret Jardin Darkroom. But I think you are safe....I know mine was the hut when 12 plants all did the same thing. 10 cannabis, 1 pepper and 1 tomato. My morning glory flowers are fine in there.

As I said above.....plants are in closet for next 4 or 5 days. Temp is staying around 85f. Will it hurt to open door every couple hours during 18 hour day to lower temps?? Or will mid 80's be okay for a few day?

Even after being "processed" the returned hydro huts caused our grow to yellow from the center out in three days.

Good news is three days after getting them out of the hut they are greening up and looking super.

Hydro Hut is now telling me to return the hut to the store (5 months later)

The huts are poison!
The people rarely answer emails
Now they want to shirk their responsibility and have me return it to the local grow shop.

I think we need to band together and get a good lawyer to go after retribution.
