50/50 Vermiculite and peatThis happens to me too. I'm going to post later after you get some replies.
Are you in dirt - what kind?
Any ferts yet?
I haven't in a week or so. I will give it some food today.Looks like it is starving.. Have you fed anything yet?
Easy to over water with all that vermiculite,Add some perlite next time.50/50 Vermiculite and peat
If you gave it no food for a week and it’s in peat which has no nutrition, there’s your answer.I haven't in a week or so. I will give it some food today.
Will transplant in a few weeks to a fabric bag.Transplant into medium NOT containing vermiculite but with a healthy amount of perlite. Put it all in a fabric bag. Watch a miracle occur shortly thereafter.
Vermiculite holds moisture. We don’t want that. Save the vermiculite to use for cloning. Will transplant in a few weeks to a fabric bag.
Will have to look at Perlite. I was told a 50/50 of vermiculite and peat was a good mix.
What frequency should I cycle between plain and fert water? If you gave it no food for a week and it’s in peat which has no nutrition, there’s your answer.
Got to start feeding on a regular basis.
Yes, I have read a lot of Bugbee's work. I tried a run with his media mix and found that I agree with other people in that it holds to much water.Anyone watch this guy? Seems to be pretty smart in this area.

You're in hydro you feed every watering. Get rid of the vermiculite and move to perlite. (I'd also get rid of the peat and move to coco but that's not important). What frequency should I cycle between plain and fert water?
Thanks. Using 20-10-20 liquid fert.-

I like to go from cloner to solo cup to 3.5gal bucket and with his mix the young plant in the bucket was soaking wet for over a week.
The mix would work, but you would need to pot up numerous times as the plant grows to avoid the soggy rootzone.
I had the 4 cu.ft. bag of vermiculite that I didn't want to waste, so I grabbed some perlite and my next run I did 1/3 peat, 1/3 vermiculite, 1/3 perlite with the dolamite, gypsum and a wetting agent. This mix performs very well. The young plants never drooped after watering and where dried out in three days. Right now I'm in second week of flower and water every other day. I figure after I pack on some weight it will need water every day.
I have been feeding 1.2EC every watering and the rounoff ph has solid at 5.9. The vermiculite also acts like a mild buffer that won't wash out over time like the dolamite will.
