Plant leaves decaying?

Hello everyone! first time poster, long time lurker; I finally got up the courage to start my own grow :D Everything was going fine for the first few weeks.. but I noticed the leaves on the bottom of my plant seem to be.. rotting?

I'm not very experienced with plants in general.. and although this seems to be MG deficiency from what I'm reading, I was hoping to get input from the more experienced people here to make sure.. :P

I am just wondering...does marijuana grow well in tropical areas than in cold areas? I mean, does climate affect the growth of marijuana?
