Need some info about your setup--space, temp, humidity...
From what I've read, it sounds like low humidity. Leaves cup and curl upward to try and catch some moisture, so they are probably too dry. I had low humidity (20-30%avg) during my seedling stage, and made sure I misted them often, and never saw any curling up or cupping.
thanks for the advice. im using a medium sized cabinet(just for a few weeks). i just turned on the humidifier next to the plants so we will wait and see.
also, the plant's first "leaves" (the ones that hold nutrients for early life) are turning yellow. should i start adding nutrients?

There's nothing wrong with your leaves pointing upwards. Like at an 45 degree angle?
The yellowing of the leaves is normally a nitrogen def but since it's those first leaves i wouldn't worry about it. I'd ad some nutrients very small strength. How old r your plants? I do dwc. In soil i think you can wait a few weeks before feeding but you should be able to add some to speed growth. Maybe like 20% strength if you're using liquid nutrients.
MG soil feeds for like 3-6 months don't know how long ur vegging though.

so as i see it your room may be too hott.. usually when the leaves stand up it is because of heat.. so try to lower your temp.. humidity also helps.. by the way you are talking about your fan leaves yes you should add 1/4 stregnth nutrient solution and gradually increase until the yellowing is corrected... don't use nutrient every watering tho it will cause a build up of salts and cause more problems... i would sudgest using something organic.. like a compost tea...

the cotyledon leaves shouldn't be yellowing at 1 week old...not sure if nutes are the answer, but give a diluted dosage as suggested above if you try it.

if you're talking to me, i'm familiar with mag defs. i seriously doubt he has a mag def. since his plants are week old seedlings, LOL. you could have too high of temps. (read up on that, ballsackman! not the op.)
the one on the right is the one with the problem. you can also see the small leaves turning yellow.

if the plants are only 2-3 weeks old and ur using soil with feed in it already the plants wont be looking for MG this early, u can give a small dose of veg nutes but at 1/4 strength of recomended dose, like some1 else said here dont feed nutes every feed this early it will cause nute lock, use nutes everyother feed or once every 3 feeds. if the plants are handeling the nutes without burn u can slowly and i mean slowly increase the amount of nutez!!
also if humidity is 2 low u can mist ur plants like 4-5 times daily, or get a bowl, place a cloth in the bowl and soak the cloth until its soaking, that will increase ur humidity!!!! good luck
