Plant life coming to end??

So I'm in week 8 of flowering and 12th week of overall growth of plants. I want to know are these signs that the plant life is heading into being done. These are auto flower northern lights. Cfl lights. Fox far n soil. 3 gallon tap water left out for two days. Ph level water going in around 7 lately because. Run off has been low lately. I use big bloom n tiger bloom. One of the plants had cal mag deg but usually started spotting brown rust first but now leaves r just going yellow but one plant starting from top. And another plant the leaves r turning yellow starting from bottom. Please help. But I notice the leaves with yellow have purple stem

Ive been growing the same strains for awhile, I can look at em and tell when they are ready. But I often use my microscope to be sure.

WEll I used my scope their not clear, it's the mid level where you can't see through but their not Amber tho

nice, so they are cloudy....I'd check em every other day for amber. I have a blue dream thats cloudy but not even close to looking ready

12-13 weeks is about as long as you want to go with an autoflower. I've gone 14 weeks for more amber trics but felt it was too long. If you have cloudy trics, chop now.

That's what I was thinking about. But do all the trichomes need to be cloudy?

No. People talk about "mostly cloudy" or "mostly clear." And then there is "some amber" (yellow tint).

I don't think you'll go wrong harvesting now or within the week. From what I've read, autos rarely go longer than 13 weeks. 12 is common.

You can always harvest your more mature (top?) buds now and wait a week to harvest the others. I've never done this but I've read people do it. I think it would make drying/curing a little more confusing with the different starting times. But, might be a way to get the best of both worlds.

Yea sounds like a good idea. Have to look up how to do that. It won't affect chopping half the plant down? How will the bottom half grow. Would it get shocked?

It didn't sound as traumatic as "chopping half the plant down." It was more like snipping off the main cola and 2-3 other of the largest, most mature buds. Not lopping the stalk off midway up. :) But, yes, it would be significant.

Google for "cannabis incremental harvesting."

Looks about done IMO...I wouldn't go much longer. I also wouldnt add any N at this point of the grow.
