hi. after a coco grow I'm back to using soil again but rather than special mix I've gone for bat mix and rather than go back to bio bizz nutes as pervious I thought about using the plant magic old timers organic range.
just wondering if any/many have used this range of nutrients.
the range I'd be using would be:-
GROW
plant magic old timers organic grow 5-3-3
plant magic veg boost
plant magic granules
plant magic old timers magnesium
BLOOM
plant magic old timer organic bloom 3-5-4
plant magic biowetter
plant magic organic pk 4-8
plant magic old timers magnesium

hurd good things about plant magic from my local grow store so I've decided to give it a go. any advise or comments if you've used it welcome

i'd skip the extra 4-8 pk
3/5/4 is fine for flowering
their regular nutrients don't have magnesium in it?
whats the granules?
whats the veg boost?

Granules is a granular innoculant made up of Mycorrhiza, bio-stimulants and over 20 strains of microorganisms. All these work to create an abundance of beneficial micro life within the soil.

VEG BOOST is a powerful bio stimulant used to increase the activity of beneficial microorganisms and soil bioactivity.

VEG BOOST contains Humic acid which has a high Cation Exchange Capacity. This acts as a reservoir for nutrients and micronutrients improving the availability of the crucial elements to the plant.

do you have a wormbin or have a desire to make one?
if so you could cut out the veg boost
and for the mycorrizae I'd just go with the know xtreme mykos, right type of myco and no trichodermas in it.

Yo dude, I'm a big Plant Magic fan and is all i use!

I use Old Timer Grow & Bloom, their Magne-Cal, their Evolution spray, and have just switched to their Soil Supreme for my current little grow! All fits into being organic still.

Their products are real top quality and the nutes last ages - I've still got half of the 5L Grow & Bloom Old Timers i bought about 5 years ago, and they're totally fine, still potent as ever and no degradation. The plants really respond well to any Plant Magic product I've given them - i do only dose sparingly though they seem to lap it up always! Bud taste really comes out a winner. And also the Evo spray does work noticeable wonders both normal weekly use and especially after transplanting or any stress/accidental damage period.

And as for their Soil, i am so glad i switched too! Was faithful to Bio-Bizz All-Mix for ages, and was decent soil, tho rather hot, abit unpredictable and not best at draining/aerating, whereas the PP Soil Supreme is a major step up - the roots have been well impressive from it and seedlings loved the lightness alot more.

So, sorry to sound like.PP promo (i hope they do fucking send me free shit tho lol! ) though I've no intention of ever buying any other brands ever as always loved the results with their products, it's a good, trustworthy organic line, and they're a UK company too which i liked to support! Would strongly recommend!

just saw
fuck that shit
ain't organic man
FULL of chemicals

heres whats in it

UK – Organic Compound Fluid Fertiliser 5.0-3.0-3.0

Total Nitrogen 5.0%

Phosphorous Pentoxide (P2O5) 3.0 (1.3%P)

Phosphorous Pentoxide (P2O5) soluble in water 3.0(1.3%P)

Potassium oxide (K2O) 3.0 (2.5%K)

they also sell a "flush" additive...

Will show how good they love the soil, nutes and spray - are 34 days from sprouting thru ground and under a 150W 5000K CFL - been real nice easy controllable growing so far, and barely any nute defs and only 1 set of bottom leaves on each stripped for N - Soil Supreme deffo been good, constant medium.
they look great my man, very healthy, you are doing well

but those nutrients aren't 100% organic, and I wouldn't want to use EDTA in fuckin anything i'm ingesting.

http://bubbleandbee.com/top-five-chemicals-to-avoid/

theres much more there too, just gotta research

the alarming thing about EDTA is it chelates the heavy metals, which would therefore make them more bioavailable, which means a safe guess would be that your plant would have higher amounts of the metals in the plant.
that used with many minerals could create some concerns, not to mention smoking a plant grown with EDTA is beyond eyebrow-raising

Phosphorus pentoxide is a chemical compound with molecular formula P4O10 (with its common name derived from its empirical formula, P2O5). This white crystalline solid is the anhydride of phosphoric acid. It is a powerful desiccant and dehydrating agent.

EDTA

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethylenediaminetetraacetic_acid
Came upon this thread after doing a google for some reviews of plant magic, your comment implied that phosphorus pentoxide was not organic which interested and surprised me, I looked into and found little evidence for what you're saying and ample evidence against. One method of deriving phosphorus pentoxide is from animal bones and the process is talked about in the following paper:

"Concentrated Phosphorus Recovery from Food Grade Animal Bones for Agronomical Efficient Innovative Fertiliser Applications in the Organic and Low Input Farming Sectors" (https://www.preprints.org/manuscript/201804.0132/v1)

I have no vested interest in plant magic nor do I use their products but I don't think it is right that a misleading thread should be one of the first pages that comes up after a google search.
