Just one question, i can read everywhere that with LED plants will use less nutrients but i'm not really sure i've understand.

For exemple, if i use 20L of water with 1,5ml/L of fertilizer with my 400W HPS should i use with LED :
- 10L of water with 1,5ml/L of fertilizer (less water but the same amount of nutrient per litre)
- 20L of water with 1ml/L of fertilizer (the same amount of water but less nutrient per litre)
- 10L of water with 1ml/L of fertilizer (less water and less nutrient per litre)

In future for me the 140 w dual spectrum :-o and in next time another 140w for making a 280w panel , the 280w panel is to expansive for me now

I have 1 140w for 1 cab and then I'd like the 280w for my wardrobe. But yes the 280w is a different size and it's only got 1 power cable.

Is there something that I have to know about growing with LED? Something really different than with HPS?
What is the real penetration of this kind of panel?

I don't think so. Same as.. HPS doesn't penetrate to the lower parts..
Keep your canopy about 12 inches from panel.. sometimes
my girls get close, like 5 inches but best around 12 inches.
If you read through Plant phonics website info.. it's all spot on.

I'm thinking of selling my brand new 300w Vipar to get another PP panel for my new wardrobe..

Hi.. Well for a start i do think the Vipar's are good well designed panels and powerful though i haven't done a grow with it. It's mainly the heat. I can't have my 6 inch fan i have on a variac any higher as the noise is a bit much. The heat of the A300 is an issue for me where i live. I also think i can get similar results with just 1 140w panel as the LED's are the best. But i plan on getting the two 140w panels eventually.
I have one 140w in my veg cabinet and want 280w in the wardrobe.

sorry for the response but i was really busy this last week.
I have receive my panel and i am really happy thank you man!!:) I think you have to sell the vipar and to buy another Amethyst, this panel are just crazy! No noise, no heat, just the best led, i'am really falling in love with this panel^^
I have put some girls unders them, if you want i can post some pics of them next week, they are just 2 weeks vegs!

I told you, you wouldn't regret it! :) They are amazing. Vipar will be going on ebay next week if i can't sell it to a friend. Yes please show us your pictures:)

Since about three day i have a problem with the two m1ad kuh, the leave looks like burnt on the top of the plant and there is a lot of little brown spot, is anybody have already see this?

Humidity : 50%

Is that a Moly deficiency/lockout? Maybe a Cal problem mixed with heat stress? Weird. Wish I could be of more help on that.

Thanks for posting pics of those 140s. I would love to get one, but $175.00 S&H kills it for me. Guess I'll have to watch yours instead :(. Good Luck RamiX!
