The number of pots isn’t relative to yield. Yield is proportional to canopy space.Which option is better given the limited space there is in such an enclosure:
4 air pots
or
2 air pots?
What option do you think will offer more yields in the end?
you'll have to explain. if the old adage "bigger the roots, bigger the fruits" is to be believed, then bigger pots equals bigger roots, right? I should have more roots in a bigger pot. if so, bigger pots= bigger roots = bigger yieldsThe number of pots isn’t relative to yield. Yield is proportional to canopy space.
I’d go with 2 pots in that size space personally.
In black and white, yes.you'll have to explain. if the old adage "bigger the roots, bigger the fruits" is to be believed, then bigger pots equals bigger roots, right? I should have more roots in a bigger pot. if so, bigger pots= bigger roots = bigger yields
You asked how many air pots you should use in your space, four of them or two of them.you'll have to explain. if the old adage "bigger the roots, bigger the fruits" is to be believed, then bigger pots equals bigger roots, right? well there's only so much space inside of a tent that the pots can occupy, I can fit four smaller pots inside of the space OR I can fit two large size pots inside the space. I thought this was obvious. I'm certainly not going to grow in only half the space while my grow light sucks up powerYou asked how many air pots you should use in your space, four of them or two of them.
If you were asking what size air pots that’s a completely different question and you should have used volume measurements such as “4 gal airpots” and “2 gal airpots”.
Medium will also play a factor as well as other factors.
These are the sizes available for air pots.

As I already said the number of plants is irrelevant when determining final yield.well there's only so much space inside of a tent that the pots can occupy, I can fit four smaller pots inside of the space OR I can fit two large size pots inside the space. I thought this was obvious. I'm certainly not going to grow in only half the space while my grow light sucks up power
in theory, can two plants produce as much of a yield as four plants?![]()
you mind telling me what the hell I'm doing growing four plants then?As I already said the number of plants is irrelevant when determining final yield.
Final yield is dependent on canopy size only if you are disregarding strain.
Two plants will yield equal to four plants in the same size tent.
you mind telling me what the hell I'm doing growing four plants then?
it's because I'm weighing the cost and effect of purchasing a $200 grow tent plus all the fancy little trinkets n gadgets that go with that, it's close to $500. I'm literally looking at the mars hydro site rn.No idea, you’re the one growing them not me. No idea why’d you make a post asking the question after you’ve already started growing four.
As a new grower starting more plants isn’t always a bad idea either. You can either keep all four or just keep the two healthiest ones if some develop issues.
You’re looking to purchase another tent? What does that have to do with number of plants?it's because I'm weighing the cost and effect of purchasing a $200 grow tent plus all the fancy little trinkets n gadgets that go with that, it's close to $500. I'm literally looking at the mars hydro site rn.
I don't have a tent, I'm growing in a closet rn.You’re looking to purchase another tent? What does that have to do with number of plants?
Ok gotcha. Glad I was able to give you the answer then.I don't have a tent, I'm growing in a closet rn.
I'm cheating rn, I'm growing in more than just 2x4 feet of space, closer to like 3x4 using 5 gallon grow bags. Four of those arent gonna fit in a 2x4 grow tent, so I need to know if four smaller plants would offer high yields, or given the small-ish size of the tent opting to grow two larger potted plants instead would be preferable.
