Plant Problem! Aerogarden Help!

I noticed yesterday that one of my plants kind of looked funny and the leaves were curing down and couple shriveled up and died. And I see a little bit more today.

I looked on the plant problems link in the GrowFAQ and it definitely looks like a Potassium deficiency.
I'm growing the the Aerogarden and I'm about 25 days into flowering. What can I do to increase the potassium its getting? Does anyone know?

I'm using the aerogarden nutrients, with added flowering food and a growth catalyst. I haven't had any problems in the dosing so far with the plants. I did change the pump a few days ago and the plants went through some stress but I think they overcame that

Mmm i wouldn't jump to conclusions about nutrients b/c airgarden is well....a toy. Grow in rockwool with nutrients and you won't have these problems.

you would think the guy above me would have gave you some help instead of telling you to get a whole new set up, he's probably jealous. either way you need the RIGHT nutrients, check out the foxfarm website and find somewhere around you that sells it, or buy it on amazon... your plants need the right nutrients!

I am trying to help that's why I recommend against aeroponics. I don't try to recommend anything specific or some system. I'm just saying aeroponics is not good if you're considereing anything 1/2 serious. It's for a toy basil/parsley garden, not cannabis. Also what do I have to be jealous of? Dying aerogarden weed? Read around and check the journals...then make a decision.

Also foxfarm will make your tank filled with gunk, use Ionic Grow/Bloom or Advanced Nutrients, these are brands trusted by pro growers on these forums.

recommending against aeroponics in general or specifically the aerogarden? big difference!

I agree the Aerogarden looks toyish but some folks on here say they get a harvest from them. I've never used one so can't say. But in general, aeroponics kicks ass!

i use for cloning and dwc for growing. seems to work for me but who am i to say.

the aerogarden is hydroponic not aeroponic, its just a smaller hydro set up,and most people have been getting pretty decent results after they figure it out.

In most lo-pressure aeroponic gardens, the plant roots are suspended above a reservoir of nutrient solution or inside a channel connected to a reservoir. A low-pressure pump delivers nutrient solution via sprayer nozzles or by ultrasonic transducers, which then drips or drains back into the reservoir. As plants grow to maturity in these units they tend to suffer from dry sections of the root systems, which prevent adequate nutrient uptake. These units, because of cost, lack features to purify the nutrient solution, and adequately remove debris, mold, and pathogens. Such units are usually suitable for bench top growing and demonstrating the principles of aeroponics.

it is an aeroponic system but uses a drip line feed instead of nozzles.
you get what you pay for but it is a great starter tool also clean neat and freindly for all.

anyway i think we steered away from the problem and that is helping our friend here with their problem.....if youcould post some pics it would probably help alot more so we could see exactly whats going on. im on my second grow in an aerogarden....yes it has it downs but it has its ups and if you go on my post youll see exactly what the ups are my plants are currently 2 feet tall and growing...mad white hairs out im in 16 days into flowering and my plants are looking lovely.........so yeah if you post some pics it will help more...ive had some rough patches with my grows and might be able to help you out

Tash, I have an aerogarden and use it on a pretty regular basis but, i have never flowered in it. I can tell you this, my experience wit AG nutes has been very poor and I NEVER use them any more. I use GH products with good results. I can only assume that if you got this far you have the Ph under control...right? I would get some better nutes and put them in there, Maxibloom is really cheap and easy. If you ask 10 folks about nutes you will get 10 opinions but, I suspect that all 10 will be better than what you are doing now. Just an opinion, good luck.
