PLANT PROBLEM need help please!

OK heres the problem I had 10 Femeinized seeds I have never used rockwool cubes before I usually use pete pots nice and simple. Since I had not used rockwool cubes before I did not soak the cubes in nutrients because I did not know I just put them in the hole covered barley and watered them. So basically I have put the ones that are actually growing a little into miracle grow potting mix and hoping that the cube will absorb enough just so it can grow out of the CUBES. I am using a 1000 watt hps so its not that IM not using enough light I just need to know if what I did will work! PLEASE HELP!

4x4 cubes i hear are the best, good thing about em is you can always just bury the plant, cube and all in the dirt outside in late season if the females get too stinky for indoor. ive run into the soaking problem as well your best bet is to get something to eliminate bouyancy of the cubes and place that over them in a tub forcing them to stay submerged. soak them in the tub but not alkaline tap water..with distilled water ph make sure ph is about 5.5 so get your lemon juice to make it more acidic (1/2 tsp at a time) and calcium for buffer a lil at a time wait a lil time check ph, if your cheap and need calcium cook some eggshells on low heat for hr or 2 keep it under 200degrees then after that blend em up and you got calcium powder. anyway once u got the right ph water add your starting nutes low strength and soak those cubes underwater for 2 days because if they dont get a good soaking they tend to become alkaline over time but soak em with airstones so you dont get slime, then they are ready to go get jiffy pucks start seed in there and pop right into cube, good luck hope this helped, keep me posted.

Hey thanks for the help but this might sound stupid but what I did was just took the ones that were popping out or had sprouts that were in the rockwool cubes straight into 5 gallon buckets and planted them. It has only been a week but the seeds have still not came all the way only some of them have sprouted. So I guess my next question is how long does it usualy take when you just pop the seed into the rockwool and your just using water. oh p.s. the soil im using is miracle potting mix i know its bad but whats my name again. It has nutes in it so I was thinking maybe the soil would get absorbed into the cubes.

rockwool becomes alkaline after time even overnight in some setups make sure u soak them real good in the ph u want otherwise ull be battling ph problems until they stress to death, my suggestion: if u still have this goin, its good that u put the blocks right in soil many people start them inside and plant them outside np. the problem with rockwool is it holds alot of water to nute them wrong theyre gonners so heres a remedy soak the cubes in the ph u wanjt and also add the nute % u shud have for vegging the put the seed in the cube. fyi tap water shud be evaporatred for 48 hrs cuz its got chlorine in there. u have to get the right nutes into the cubes because they hold not absorb nicely, try watering aroung the rock cubes never on them and hopefully theyll develop roots towars the water they can last almost a week without water and im sure they have a bountiful amount still left in the cube your objective is to break the roots into the soil gl
