mike new 004.jpgI'm 2 weeks into veg and my plants are curling down and spotting. Especially this one. I think it's my ph. My ph reader says 5.8 what should I do? I'm thinking about mixing some wood ash and baking soda into my water next time I water it.:-?

fox farm ocean forest, not using nutes yet just bottled distilled but I have advanced nutes mother earth super tea and sensi bloom a&b, 600 watt hps about 30" away. Oh and mississippi that cup is a huge 64oz big gulp that I just transplanted it into.

The cup was kinda small but you said you transplanted it? A 1 or 2 gallon pot woulda been a little more efficient.
As for the droop and color.. Its looks ready for some food. Start off light (like 25% recommended) and work your way up.
Is there run off holes in the bottom of your cup?

yeahcup 001.jpg here is a side view of the cups the hole is at the bottom. I was trying to keep them in the cups until I can sex them. The cups are as tall as the 3 gallon pots I have. I don't think they need nutes yet the soil they're in will feed them for a month. I'm leaning towards the low ph but I'll put the worst one in a 3 gallon with some nutes as a test and see what happens.

I start using nutes as soon as they have roots and are in dirt ready to grow. You should be feeding them as soon as they begin to harden.
FoxFarmOF soil is no stranger around here.. Check my signature link.
You should be feeding them well before a month.
