I am currently growing Mandala Hashberry and Nirvana PPP. My Hashberry mom has a purple streaked main stalk and the middle leaf stems are turning dark purple/Red. The PPP does not show these symptoms. Plant is from clone and about 4 weeks veg. Clones taken all exhibit same symtoms after a couple weeks. I grew/am growing DP Blueberry and they looked exactly the same at this point: Red stems and streaked stalks. I am using FFOF 3 Gallon pots. Water and nutes are PH'd to 6.5. My water comes from an artesian spring and has a TDS of 215. I used standing tapwater with a TDS of 136 and had the same problem. I feed once per week at a TDS/EC of 400/0.8, I do not feed for the first 4 weeks. I start them in 6" pots and transplant into fresh FFOF in the 3 gallon pots @ 2 weeks. This produces vigorous, lush and green plants with no deficiencies other than what I have already mentioned. BUT I have noticed on both the HB and the BB there is kind of a warping (like a peice of plywood that has gotten very wet then dried) to the first 2 or three sets of middle leaves. They leaves are beautiful dark green but warped. Again, the PPP does not show this problem. Also, the veins on the underside of the leaf are begging to turn Red/Purple as well. I don't know if it matters but the purpling of the stems is not uniform. It starts where the stem connects to the stalk and leaf then moves to the middle of the stem.
When I flower the plants look great until the middle of the the 4th week. Then they begin an accelerating process of yellowing middle leaves with the leaves eventually dying and dropping. I have tried to be very careful to not overfeed(FF GB, TB, BB). Could I be underfeeding?
