What the nute company says is only a guideline for general users. However, what is important is what's in their nute and not the label. Once you know how to use their content individually or in combination with other nute from other manufacturer then you would be able to dial in your own recipe. To understand mixing your own recipe....
1. Find a reliable source for the nutrient profile of the cannabis plant....usually they are in ppm.
2. Know how to use a nutrient calculator or know your tds meter
Once you know the nutrient profile and understand the individual macro and micro ppm, you can feed them however you want. You can feed them at low strength(just a little below the nutrient profile) daily with water for every 3-4 feeding, you can feed them at 100% of the profile and just water after that for a while or you can wait for a sign of deficiency and feed them with just that specific deficiency. The really good thing is you're no longer bind to a specific label/manufacturer, you can pretty much use any fertilizer at hand even miracle grow
I have a conundrum of fertilizers and I use all of them, no loyalty to a specific brand. Heck, I even use an orchid fertilizer
