That looks like a pretty ballsey male to me. If it was a hermie you would be seeing calyxes as well.

I'll have to get another pic, it also appears that bud is forming. It's my largest plant, I don't wanna have to cut it down. If it is hermie, can't I just pick off as many of the seeds as I can? Obviously I won't get all the seeds, but it is GDP, so I won't have to buy more seeds just wish I knew what pollinated it.

those balls are not seeds my friend they are pollin sacs and when they open up any other budding girls you have around will be full of seeds, so unless you want seedy buds i would chop him down and make a bit of oil out of him or someting!!!

i already pulled out 2 males from my crop, 2 out of 9 is pretty good odds in my opinion

so now its up to you to decide if you wanna keep him or not!!
good luck man happy growin :weed:

So it defenitly can't be a hermie? And is it possible I could get a couple pollin sacs and purposely rub it against my white Russian plant. Is that how crossing is
Done? Because purple Russian sounds bad ass to me.

yes you can open the sacs up and polinate the buds yourself once the pollin hits the hair bam it will be a seed i done that last year i had a actual hermie and pinched the sacs off and pollinated a bud got 3 seeds but didnt grow them cause they had the hermie trait bt use a male to polinate your female and you have some kick ass seeds when they are ready

Well I guess I'm gonna have to chop it down. I do believe I'm gonna try and pollinate my Russian. Purple Russian sounds pretty bad ass. Hopefully I can get some sweet phenos in the future.

I was thrilled to score 8 out of 11 on my unidentified group this year - it's usually the other way around, lol.

Still, it was heartbreaking to pull those three strapping males but somebody had to do it :)

yeah of coarse my largest best looking plant is a male!
Isn't that usually the way!

You can imagine my surprise and shock when my two largest turned out to be female this year. I LST'd one (the tallest, because she was pure sativa) and left the other (my "control" plant), mostly sativa. She is over 10' and still growing. I can't measure anymore. I attached a 6' post to a 4' fence with a few inches of overlap (for reference), but she broke that last week and is still growing, if a bit slower now that she's coming into flower :weed:

keep the pollen in a baggie, and tie the bag over the buds, at the end of a branch you want seeds on, and shake it lightly. pull the branch and tie it away from the rest of the plant, so it will not contaminate the rest, before you put on or remove the bag, and you can leave that branch on after you harvest for an extra couple weeks to give the seeds time to form. you will get a better germ rate from the more mature seeds. and if you get enough send some my way bongsmilie
