Hey guys. Just a simple question here. My plant kinda got away from me and grew too tall to main line due to an organic soil build (just add water type deal). Now I'm moving and need to transfer the plant to my new house which is 3ft tall (i know, fucking asshole mission). This plant is way to tall to take with me so I need to tie it to a stick. Will this stick kill my plant by destroying its root system? What do I do I really dont want to get rid of the plant.

Asshole. I have a fucking life. The goddamn plant got away from me and it grew tall as fuck. I mainline my plant at less than 6inches and I didn't have the time to do so this round. So I didn't top it at all. The damn plant grew tall instead of wide, which should be everyone's goal. Also, WHY THE FUCK does this matter ? Just answer the god damn question you turd.

I just organized my room, I dont love doing it but love the aftermath. I grow perpetual and I dont have the luxury to grow with trellis. So, when my plants get too tall or big or lanky (btw too tall if its early flower like within the first 3 weeks I retop them) What I do often is I ll put at least 4 bamboo sticks, use a piece of string, start from the bottom and wrap around with the string. You can sort of adjust the buds or tie them where you want them later but as far as ''bundling'' a plant for a trip thats the way to go, then of course top it off with a garbage bag as long as its not on her for too long. I often have 4-8 bamboo sticks or other sticks in my pots, all good dont worry.

Ya, like this. I wrap with the string also. Wrap em like a christmas tree.

Op, just cut it into a more manageable size, and make clones out of the rest.

"Staking" and transporting is not the end of the world, definitely don't have to worry about the roots.

ive transported 5-6ft tall budding plants just in the back of a ute (pickup truck).
Did the same, only the truck had a tonneau cover. Zig-zag, multiple trips, worked out fine. Also used largest Uhaul, Uhaul trailers, Uhaul cargo van, but the only one they had available had windows. Dumbass said he had 3 mil bags to cover the windows, nope, thin cheapos. Funny ass adventures (can laugh about them now).

The stickers won't hurt enough roots to make a difference. Might even prompt new growth, maybe aerate the soil , improve drainage.
