I'd be more inclined to say it's probably lockout of K, and to a lesser degree P and Mg from N tox and overwatering. It could be underfed, but those leaves are awfully green and definitely overwatered. So i was lazy for two weeks and did not feed on time or foliar my brix dropped to 13.6 from 14.9
i agree with olive it looks like N toxicity but that mix should be good, cant see it being that strong i use FFoF straight and never have issues how much botanicare grow are you feeding in PPM or EC?Pics are of a room that's vegging into screens to flower in a vertical bulb room.
Temps are perfect, watering is right I have a meter to test the soil dampness. The PH of my water in this room is 5.7 the soil when dry is 7 but 6.3 when wet...which I'm also curious about. It's barely getting nutrients the one nutrient being used in this room is botanicare grow and some basic cal- mag. The soil is Fox Farm Ocean forest and Light Warrior mixed. Which is a really good mix. I've flushed with pure PHd water and am lightly watering now. Not sure what else to do?
Brix is the measurement of sugar in your plants sap basically ... the higher the brix the healthier the plant and the more resistant to disease or stuff like powdery mildew and pests like spider mites it. I heared ( not researched or confirmed ) that if you have over a 15 or 16% brix level pests like mites wont even recognize it as food and mildew will not be able to penetrate the leaf and spread.Brix? Never heard that before
You may want to try Feed, Water, Nothing to help flush out the left over salts from prior feedings. As Olive Dab Green said above, if it is a lockout of toxicity giving PH'd water between feed or flushing weekly should help the issue.Oh that's what else I was going to say. In my veg rooms and the rooms where I have no problems I water every 2-3 days 5-10% drain I hand water all 75 of the plants I have. The rooms where I have problems the plants are sucking water up every single day they are bone ass dry and have Toxicities and defeciencies so maybe that has to do with the heat stress from he lights being to close? Because it's 80 in all my rooms with the lights on and 70 with them off constantly.
And I pulled all of the plants that are nasty looking and it's definitely not root bound. Maybe a tad green and some brown roots which is probably from them getting watered every day once. Definitely not root bound
